We have two small mids who are guns (Viney and Jones). We cant fit Murphy in too. Spargo will develop into a fine mid to take the Jones role.

Not sure why some people are worried Pert comes from 11 years at Collingwood. Remember which AFL club Peter Jackson was at before us? Now he is MFC royalty (in my book anyway).

So Pert was an AFL appointment. This has to be a huge success or they will look like fools. Taking that into account, in combination with the talent of our list and our great coaching staff .... I am penciling us in for at least 6 flags in the next 10 years. Let the good times roll!

Fritsch, the 11 game rookie, has a way better output than Watts already. Beats him easily in just about every statistical category. No way that happened.. you sure you read it correctly? I ran it 20 straight times as an experiment and the lowest it had us was 7th. The closest call was making it with a 13-9 record, percentage clear from 9th place. I mentioned in another thread that we can make the finals with 13 wins as long as we keep our percentage up over 120. The ladder predictor was in line with that. But thats just fun and games, who knows what will really happen?

Couldn't understand the people melting down when he was traded out. Hes had 1 good season in 9. No great seasons. Horrible strike rate. Wonder if he will come back in to plays us next week? Im not going to stick the boot in as he might come in and kick 5 against us. This is the MFC, after all.

Well we will get plenty of chances in the last 10 games to prove our credentials. We play games @ Port, @ Crows, @ Eagles and home games to Sydney and GWS. Sink or swim.

Both teams will be 8-4 (assuming Port beat the Dogs this week). It is huge. And its on a Friday night. Hopefully we don't choke on the big stage again.
