We haven't been to the finals in 11 years, and anything can happen once we get in there. And it will give our players finals experience. And we can easily beat any of those teams btw. Cant believe any Demon supporter would not care if we made the finals or not.. mind blowing. Why go through a decade of hell and then scoff at making the finals just cos you think we may lose in an Elimination Final.

Well we choked vs decent opposition the last two games, and now we go back to playing some teams out of the 8. vs St.Kilda at the MCG vs Fremantle in Darwin vs Western Bulldogs at the MCG Must win all three. If we drop one of these games we will find it very hard to make the finals with a very tough run home.

Changed my username after last weeks game as I was sick of Petracca and his lack of effort combined with his general softness. Unfortunately the mods changed it back. The laziest player in the comp who fumbles every ball, drops easy marks and generally looks disinterested. No sense of urgency. Thinks hes a superstar when in reality he should be at Casey.

Mitch McGovern from Adelaide. One of the best contested marks in the comp, still only 23. If we added him to Gawn, Hogan, T Mac, Fritsch and Lever.. our marking power would be absurd.

Then find a new location. Or perhaps we could replicate the dimensions to a smaller ratio of the MCG, like they did with Optus Stadium in Perth.

Addng to that, if the oval cant be made to the exact dimensions of the MCG its not even worth doing the project or training there.

Hopefully theres enough room to make the ground the EXACT size of the MCG. Not an inch more or less.

Why cant we just train on the MCG? We are the original tenant. We started playing there in the 1800's for gods sake.

Hes a great player and we need someone of his age profile (28) with Lewis , Vince and to a lesser extent, Pedersen, almost done. We will lose a ton of experience soon. I think getting his sister is a sign hes already committed to us. It seems to obvious but with the talk that we have the cash to lure another big fish, the planets are aligning. Feeling a lot better about our last 10 games now that Adelaide are garbage. If we knock Port off this Friday at Adelaide Oval it will be a nice warmup for the Crows game at the same ground. If we win at least 1 of the 2 Adelaide Oval games we will play finals.

I don't think he will be as expensive as some have suggested, so the money/salary cap wont be a problem. Hes not a superstar but hes a polished B+ midfielder, and would be a very sweet icing on our midfield cake. If he wants to come to the MFC and we want him, hes ours.

They have both Richmond and West Coast finishing 19-3. Not gonna happen.

What about when he claimed in one of his training reports that Viney was on track for Round 1. Then Viney gets ruled out for a couple of months and Saty claims he knew that already as someone told him at training, but he wanted to keep it to himself. Therefore admitting passing on false information to Demonland and invalidating every training report he has ever given. That was a good one.

Absolutely spewing France got that 2nd goal. If we managed a draw I'd have us booked into round 2. Peru and Denmark are not much chop. At least we are only 1 goal in arrears after playing the best team in our group, which is good news for any possible tiebreakers. We need to take care of business in the last 2 games, and it would be nice if France crushed both Denmark and Peru. Theres still hope.

Dion Johnstone seems to be going ok in his new role as a small defender for Casey. Reckon he is safe.

I already felt good about the Pert appointment. But now that Malthouse is saying hes no good, I feel even better about it.

Not sure why some people are worried Pert comes from 11 years at Collingwood. Remember which AFL club Peter Jackson was at before us? Now he is MFC royalty (in my book anyway).

So Pert was an AFL appointment. This has to be a huge success or they will look like fools. Taking that into account, in combination with the talent of our list and our great coaching staff .... I am penciling us in for at least 6 flags in the next 10 years. Let the good times roll!
