I'm excited about the form of Gawn. Six weeks ago everyone was saying we need to find a ruckman trade period. Maxys emergence has filled another hole in the list. Also excited about how good Hogan is and will be.

Yes we can easily beat the Saints. And a 24 point win in a very low scoring game is not luck at all.

6 - Jesse Hogan - in a low scoring game he kicked 4.1 and took 11 marks with 16 touches. Beast. 5 - Jack Viney - gave Rockliff a football lesson. Hes going to give the Bluey a fair shake. He has arrived. 4 - Max Gawn - gave the mids first use and kept us in it in the 3rd quarter with great pressure. Shame he had that poster, deserved a goal 3 - Jeremy Howe - best game of the season by a mile.. used his aerial strength to impact the game. Must do that every week 2 - Daniel Cross - the old warhorse never stops, racked up touches and constantly up thrusts from the backline 1 - Chris Dawes - like Howe, his best game of the season by far. Started like a house on fire when the game was won.

Next week provides the best chance in a long time for back to back wins and to climb out of the bottom 4

We had 10 players with under 50 games, and 6 first year players (5 if you don't count Jesse) Damn right Ill take the win, especially with the pessimism coming into the game surrounding Brisbanes so called gun midfield and the return of Stiff Martin

Also well done to Howe and Dawes... nice timing for their best games of the season. I wanted them both dropped, I dont back down from that but just glad they delivered finally

When your the MFC , you take any win. We finally won a game as favorites. If we kicked one more goal we would be out of the bottom 4.... we are now just decimal % points behind Essendrug. (making last weeks loss even more frustrating) Having said that, it was the worst game of footy I have seen since these two teams played last year and our kicking at goal was deplorable for the 2nd week in a row. Max Gawn is a hero, he kept us in it in that putrid 3rd quarter

Jones and Lumumnba have been invisible, making the quarter even more impressive. Cant hold them forever, go Demons.

ANB is the right choice I think.. seemed to be tiring a bit, and is the kind of player that can spark us as a sub

Hunt and Petracce in the forward line with Hogan and Jeffy will be something else

Hawks are just plain scary 3 flags in a row coming up for sure And as predicted the Pies early season form was a fluke thanks to a soft draw. They are pretenders
