Melbourne FC ✔ @melbournefc Jones: Petracca is one of the most excitable players + he's jumping out of his skin - he's aware that he needs to get his conditioning right 59m Melbourne FC ✔ @melbournefc Jones: Petracca won't play this week - we want to make sure he's prepared and has his fitness and body right.

Yes, some depth,.finally.
-
Second Heppell thread in days.... What did he say anyway? Havent seen any articles
-
Really interested to see if Angus is selected, and if one full game back at Case was enough to get his fitness up And we pray Jeffys ankle is cherry ripe
-
The Petracca ACL was more devastating. , Robert Murphy has played almost 300 games of footy and hes what, 34? Hes had a fair crack at it Cry me a river AFL media
-
We must have a good shot at poaching one or two of the banned gun Bombers with the Goodwin/McCartney influence plus we already have one of their mates in Jake Melksham.

'Gawn is physical, athletic and crafty, making him the complete package, and the greatest talent Melbourne has recruited in the modern era. There is a long list of talented ruckman in the AFL, but we have just witnessed a change in the pecking order, with a red and blue warrior the best of all.' Author has to be a Demon supporter lol Edit - yes he is http://thecrowd.foxsports.com.au/t5/forums/recentpostspage/post-type/message/user-id/110084

True, I was just fantasizing. Hard not to really.

Our boys worked Pendlebury over in the win last season. Still remember Viney, Vanders and Jonesy all getting their turn to smash him Might be wise for him to take the week off if hes already carrying a rib problem
-
if Garlett and Brayshaw come in we will be fine... Marley Williams got injured last week and is out for this game and likely would have taken Garlett
-
Well Ben Ken has an appetite for the contest and Im sure he'd love to torch his old side who barely ever gave him a go Jeremy Howe is one of the laziest players in the league and I bet he doesn't fire a shot on Sunday
-
if Gawny keeps this up he will make the AA team either as starting ruck or more likely on the bench behind Goldy Would be amazing if he made it
-
Isnt the great Travis Johnstone too?
-
I think theres a chance Petracca does come in and plays permanent forward alongside Hogan , with Watts spending more time in the midfield to help cover the loss of Bernie
-
We all thought we had zero chance when we went down to Geelong last season minus Jesse Hogan Vince is awesome but he is one player and if him being out costs us the game we may as well pack it in
-
lol classic
-
Exactly right and Dunny flogged Hawkins at the Cattery last season
-
Wel he definitely played the entire last quarter, and was on screen for just about every moment
-
What a kick.. like a laser guided missile. Phwoarrrrrrrrrr
-
Think the earliest we will see Brayshaw, Petracca and Oliver all in the same team is Round 6 vs Saints So I guess thats going to be Petraccas debut game too
-
Agreed, and the article I posted was just speculation by the author it seems. But the time is drawing nearer when the Trac is unleashed.
-
Go to 14:20 for the Petracca mark, goal and sledge to the Frankston supporter

IT SEEMS that Christian Petracca may finally be ready to make his long-awaited AFL debut. The 2014 No.2 draft pick, who has battled knee and foot injuries for the past year and a half, was excellent in the VFL over the weekend. He recorded 28 disposals for Casey Scorpions in a big win over Frankston and showed he’s in top-level form as the Demons consider a potential debut this weekend. http://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-confidential-christian-petraccas-vfl-sledge-cesc-fabregas-watches-footy-mark-ricciutos-baby/news-story/9235404e9c1cbe92ed32645095fe2db9

A reminder we rolled the bastards in Round 18 last year when they still had hopes of making the 8. Vince ran rings around Pendlebury.
