That is a really young swans team. Perhaps not by average age as they still have a bunch of veterans and premiership players, but there are a lot of unproven ikids in the team too. Thats right PD. Spencer was never gonna play. I like him as a footballer though, always gives 100% and has great 2nd efforts and hes a nice player to have in reserve if Max gets a week off for hitting someone (I will never talk of a Max Gawn injury).

Was thinking earlier, how amazing the depth of the MFC list is now. I mean we all knew we had a lot more depth than previous seasons, but we may have one of the top few deepest lists in the whole comp. Lewis and Hogan go out, we have two guns in Vince and Kent available to come back in. Then we have five very capable and versatile players in Frost, Hibberd, Wagner, Pedersen and Vandenberg all waiting in the wings. plus an injured Joel Smith who will be a very good player. Not to mention JKH and Bugg who can contribute if called up. Feels pretty good, and holds us in stead for the grind of a long season.

No to Spencer. Theres a reason he didnt pay Round 1 at Etihad even against a very tall Saints side, and he wont play this week. No brainer changes, and gee isnt it nice to finally have depth In - VInce, Kent Out - Hogan, Lewis Smaller mobile forward line this week. Was reading the Geelong forum and they think Lewis being out actually helps us cos he is slow and their midfield is very fast. Not sure about that but we can definitely win this week even with the two big outs.

Hogan will get 2 weeks, maybe 3. That was really silly stuff and the MRP will make an example of it. Lewis has nothing to worry about, surely.
