Buckley is playing Wellingham because he is a great player. If he was the same talent level as someone like Blair, i seriously doubt hed be in the team. Wellingham has had some past issues about breeching the Leadership group pact that was made between the group. The leadership also got very angry after the Kade Simpson incident issue, and that is previously on SEN and on 3AW i heard he was out of favour with Collingwood. It does sound sketchy, i agree

after everyone else ill give it a shot. well i suspect that we need some midfielders and forwards so we most probably need to get some new young players on board. Trades: Cale Morton,pick 64 and Jamie Benell for Luke Parker of Sydney. Luke Parker is a really tough good young player. Sydney probably wont take just take picks for him but i think if we throw in Cale Morton and Jamie Benell for him it would seal the deal. hopefully Stefan Martin and pick 13 for Sharrod Wellingham and pick 21. No more needs to be said for this, would suit Melbourne Completely and give Collingwood a really talented player in Stefan Martin as wellingham is also out of favour with Collingwood. Ricky Petterd and pick 21 for Koby Stevens and Matt Rosa. This one to me is a tough one but West Coast are not giving Stevens a go and Rosa has previously been up for trade. Draft: Pick 3: Not sure what to do with this one, we can pick up another midfielder but we could pick up a forward of the future or maybe even trade this pick, not sure. Pick 4: Nathan Hvorat, really really good midfielder and will be a star of the future, has been measured up to the lengths of Marc Murphy due to his good contested footy skills. Pick 26: Jack Viney, Enough said. Havent looked at this years rookie draft. Free Agents: Would love to see Jordan Russell at Melbourne, Shannon Brynes, Angus Monfries and Clinto Young. Although in Free agency we having picked up any out and out guns like Travis Cloke or Brendon Goddard, we have gotten some good experienced players than will surely fill the gaps at Melbourne. Players that will not be at Melbourne Next year: Brent Moloney, Jared Rivers, Stefan Martin, Cale Morton, Jamie Benell, Lucas Cook, Kelvin Larwence, Troy Davis, Green, Bate, Pettard Jurrah.

I dont want one of those bloody players. Get a proven player and a proven inside and outside midfielder we need 3 new players AT LEAST. I dont want another young forward that takes another 3 years before he shows anything

Imagine if we had lost the "Kreuzer Cup", we would have gotten Cotchin, instead we got Cale Morton. Crap happens. We have drafted some awful players such as Cale Morton, Jamie Bennell is pathetic, cannot stand Bate, Gysberts hasnt turned out as well as hoped (although he is a ball magnet with a lot of talent, Jordie just isn't getting the job done, we should trade him while he is still worth currency). As much as I love Watts, if you offered me Watts or Nicnat or Jack Redden I would take either. It would be a pity if Melbourne dont end up real winners in this years draft as it is supposed to be a good one. With potential there like Viney as F/S, Nathan Hvorat, Josh Walker and so on. This years draft could set us up for a potential premiership along the track! lets just be hopefull and if we participate properly in the Free Agency and trade week we could seriously return to being a powerhouse club that Melbourne was known for in the earlier years of the clubs establishment. go dees!

there is no real evidence its a done deal, i wouldnt mind Monfries. hes got potential and combining with Clark, Sylvia (when hes forward) and howe could be something good

Spencer is a really good player in my opinion, he has a good attitude and goes hard at the footy. Martin has real currency and we should trade for a midfielder. plus a 2nd/3rd draft pick

I have thought about it and i do agree that its more than a long shot of him even considering anything. but i think its pretty safe to say that if you think about how much money we could offer him and give WestCoast pick 4 and someone like Lucas Cook. I think the gaff topic should be dropped as people have different thoughts and beliefs on him. I dont believe he will come to Melbourne. When i do think is that we should like at a player like him. maybe we should look at Wellingham or i dont know?

I dont know much about Savage and his link with Hawks, but what i do know is Ellis is a pretty good player as is Clinton Young, would be good in the red and blue next year. I love Wellingham and reckon he'd star even more at Melbourne

Because gaff is already proven gun, and is only going to get better. The risk of having pick 4 is that the player turns out dud and Gaff isnt dud he is a freak. Yeah thats fair enough, i reckon Neeld just thinks that we need to learn how to stop goals and than we can kick them and i think thats a process. I like the looks of players like Bail, Blease, T Mac they need to learn offence and defence. Not such wishful thinking, a couple good picks and we are there and some money thrown at free agents! i like it! Swap Gawn with Spencer, Pencil is a gun

there are lots of players up for trade and lots of players at free agents, i know that we will expolre all guns.Hopefully we go for Wellingham, Embley, young, established players

Honestly, i have been a mad Melbourne supporter since i was 5. I can honestly say this is the best shaping list ive seen since, we are closer to building a premiership list than ever before. There is a good base of players just need to bring in some new ones. We have developed players and they will continue to develop. Just wait for Melbourne to pick up players and do well in this draft
