Since this one is an away game, will the cheer squad be at the ponsford stand end or the regular spot in the Warne stand?

I hate the rule, but so many times already tonight I’ve seen the dogs players jumping around and moving on the mark and yet no free?! Have I just missed a change or are the umpires just helping them out?

Has the standing rule just disappeared?

Yep, drove here hoping to get in still but only allowing disability permit holders in. Managed to get a parking spot 800m away though so could’ve been worse for us.

Yeah that’s all very true. Just getting to rewatch the replay now and definitely seeing a few frees missed here and there. thankfully they didn’t have an impact o no the end result for us

I think the thing that should scare opposition teams the most is so little time it takes us to take the game away from you, even against the other top teams. To score 100pts in one and a half quarters against the other grand final team is crazy! We were in a really tough spot halfway through the third and it really looked like we were in big trouble, only to pretty much flick a switch and we completely obliterated the dogs from that moment on! Same thing happened against Geelong after halftime, although we still seemed to have their measure for the whole first half.

That one was a howler! Just about took picketts head off. but yes agree, aside from that one the game was generally very well umpired.

McDonald might’ve had a quiet night but that was some great body work!

Regardless of what happens on the weekend I’ll be upgrading my membership for 2022. Only ever had a 5 gamer since I’m in gippsland, but I’ll be going for the all Melbourne based games membership for the new year and make the trip down
