May is 193 cm and not as tall as Oscar, Jake Lever or Sam Frost I know that just one consideration but he seems undersized as a key defender to me - having said that obviously our Football dept don't see that as being a problem I cant see how he helps cover Tom Lynch, Buddy, Mason Cox, Joe Daniher, Ben Brown - these guys are all nudging or over 200cm

I suspect everyone would be better off commenting after there is some clarity one way or another From Bernie Vince's comments he is very much liked by the playing group and they would be happy to see him stay and hopefully enjoy success with them - they also seem happy to accept that if its better for him personally to consider another option then that's OK too - in such circumstances we all need to have faith in the Football Dept to get fair value for a trade and ensure overall we are closer to the ultimate prize as a result

Would be keen to hear from anyone who has seem this guy play against Casey this year Can he run a game out ? Can he tap the ball consistently to advantage ? Can he take contested marks? Can he kick and hit a target ? Why couldn't he get a single game for North ? I know he was a late convert to AFL from Rugby - maybe Maxy can teach him how to get fit enough to make it in the main game assuming he has the skills to match

If he was playing in the GF on Saturday I suspect he would have been brushed aside and have no impact - can't see why we are persevering to be honest Hopefully he can prove otherwise

Better team over the last 4 or 5 weeks of the season with him in the side - if he could stay fit extremely valuable and far less likely to be brushed aside in the heat of a final or not commit 100% to each contest Very sad to see him leave if that's the way it plays out Still a few too many soft underbellies imo we can ill afford to lose someone like AVB

All this talk of Hogan being traded seems crazy - he has far more scope to be a dominant player over the next 5 to 7 years than Weid does imo I really don't understand why he would want to leave he's going to make plenty of money either way and the future looks much brighter at MFC than the Shockers in the next few years

Gee I hope you are right - the last game I managed to attend was the St Kilda debacle - looked anything but world beaters that day in fact the score flattered us in the end. The team is going well atm but it could all unravel very quickly if they start getting ahead of themselves. I have a very very healthy respect for Hawthorn and Clarkson they are an opposition not to treat lightly

I think Jayden is certainly a keeper - I hope he turns his fortunes around in 2019 and becomes an important member of an improving team. I can see a role for him on the wing if he can work on his delivery inside 50

Maybe they could trial him on a wing so he could use his pace and break lines rather than being too concerned about his direct opponent. I think he has X factor and genuine pace that is to some extent lacking in our side so he must find a way back into the team imo. if he was to take on the wing role he would need to really work on his delivery inside 50 which I believe he is capable of doing successfully
