Combining car companies and insurance seem to be a thing with AFL clubs: Richmond had Jeep and Bingle Swans had Volkswagen and QBE Collingwood had Holden & CGU And then there is the teams with long term car deals like Ford/Geelong, Crows/Toyota, North/Mazda, Port/Renault and so on. Can’t recall Saints or Footscray ever having a car sponsor - not long term anyway. I’m sure there are many others that I’m forgetting.

Eerily enough I actually met Satyriconhome at a game (long before I was on Demonland so I can't really compare the two experiences). Since then I have had the occasional conversation with fellow Demon supporters when I have ended up at games without my usual cadre. (Saturday @ Etihad being one case where I chatted with 3 or 4 random other Dee supporters). I've often wondered if any of them are on Demonland but generally refrain from asking for various reasons. None of the people I have met at games however, have had the uniqueness of Chris from Camberwell.

Liked the stand-up tackle where Jonesy had Mathieson wrapped up with his arm locked through his so that he couldn't lift it up and make it high. Jonesy walked him a few meters and I imagine whispering something in his ear that made him feel about two inches tall.
