  1. Darling and Kennedy from the Eagles are 1.91m and 1.94m respectively, would be great to see us change up the forward strategy, still have the long-bomb target (McDonald/Brown) but with two lead-up style forwards in Fritsch and Georgiades. This setup would be less predictable and a tough match up for opponents.
  2. I’m so embarrassed by that performance. I thought those days of being heckled for rolling over when it really counts was over. Getting trashed by Lions supporters is horrific, especially after belting them on their home patch. No fight, spirit, where’s the frenetic attack on the footy gone? It actually puts me off footy, I think I’m just about done with this team!
  3. Just love his versatility, seems to intimidate the smalls with his strength and is a perfect second man up helping May/Petty. The one two with May then kick long on Friday was classic Hibberd.
  4. Also thought Riccardi he may be a great option as a 195cm, forward who can play the Jeremy Cameron style lead-up role, then I looked at his statistics for 2022. Not up to it unfortunately. Of all the forwards out there that are potentially obtainable I think Nick Larkey stands out. Under contract but surely he’d be keen for a move to the Dees?
  5. Yes agreed. Max pushing hard forward / back is going to cause major problems for Martin, then Jackson comes on. No respite. Go Dees!
  6. Heading to The Royal pre-game then Camfield if we win. Wow I’m nervous. Great weather here, lots of Dees around town. My mate spoke with Gaz Lyon at a dockers function today, said he’s super toey!
  7. Hi guys, Long term reader but not a contributor of this great site. WA based Demon Member, attended last night, amazing experience. I have GFG but the wife only has normal interstate membership. If someone has a spare GFG I could use that would be amazing. It was incredible to see the amount of red and blue at the game, so proud of the boys. I feel like I am in a dream..
  8. I guess I fall into this bracket. Member for 25 odd years (not every year however). Last year I bought a membership for myself and our 4 year old boy (first time for him). What a year, from my perspective it was money down the drain. In terms of enjoyment delivered there was zero. Their performances actually put me off football. This year I’ll see how we are placed and if they show some resilience I’ll rejoin. If that’s a bandwagon supporter then so be it.
  9. That's what I would have thought, however I bumped into him at a mining conference a few years back in HK, asked him about our "beloved Dees", was pretty ambivalent, didn't want a bar of it, strange.
