Oh please stop fighting ...Kossie isn't a thug( or Williams) he's getting suspended for undisciplined and unnecessary minor infractions that a few years back ,when he started, probably would pass unnoticed I said to the first posturing response " choose your adjective. " :undisciplined, careless, unnecessary, wasteful.?? Then mentioned his genius with ground balls..suspension is wasting his talent and contributions. Now go away

I know he's been rubbed out three times . That's enough to form an reasoned opinion

Of course if you were paying attention to what I wrote you would note I balanced my frustration/ criticism with his genius in the ground ball mix. I doubt he' d be going back to Casey, hes too important for that, more likely the leadership group would be pointing out that he needs to not be missing games through lack of discipline. Still, carry on with your MFC can do no wrong polemic and no critical opinions should be voiced.

Go to the naughty corner you said Maynard was a " great" defender not a serial offender,a thug who should be charged and banned forever . Everything else was interesting though.

Has he just come back from suspension for a tackle? Maybe it was just the bias against MFC. Get real pal, none of us know anything first hand and we can only post opinions based on what we see

I watch him play. I don't know whether he makes his bed or washes the dishes at home. He regularly jumps at impossible marks rather than being waiting at the bottom of the pack. He jumps into body contact " tackles" when apparently Maynard should be in jail. Choose your own adjective. I see" playing on the edge"s the go to club talk ," he's still "working on it" apparently". Thanks for your interest

Just give it rest. Kozzi is undisciplined whether it's "tackle/ bumps " or ridiculous leaps at impossible balls. On the ground and in the mix he's a genius

They look pretty user friendly to me. The abuse seems to coming from the internet
  9. MacDonald continues with commitment
  10. Brian Taylor useless facile mistakes Brian Taylor reads from script

Obviously they need to improve; its looking like a red hot season and no weaknesses can be allowed

He's regularly pretty careless about many aspects of his game. Which is a pity because he can do "stuff"
  13. Yes they can do it. The test is whether the FD can marshal the structure so they do. Same next week. This is a big test very early in the season. They need to win one at least and be in the game in the other at worst

Only similarity with Swift is the moves come with 30+ others on the stage. Jake's arnt scripted ,rehearsed on scheduled
  15. To be fair Levers legs are a constant worry ,as are Mays for that matter. Both need mobility and closing speed as part of their excellence package. Paranoia is also part that package I reckon
  16. Harry was undervalued as a back in the shadow of May and Lever and may possibly be overvalued up forward given the small sample size. It was a ( desperate) needs based move at the time Move him back while BBB can still get around.Take the load off TMac. Time for JVR and Fritta to plant the flag as a regular working duo and for appropriate supply to be upgraded to "elite". Clearly honouring BBB's long leads is part of that picture as long as it lasts Season defining fortnight imo
  17. Someone needs to take him aside and explain reality to him.Maybe an intervention from the whole leadership group. Does his highlights package include one high pack mark?

It's difficult to understand why Hogan and that other guy went West then. Tip..they didn't want to play for the MFC. And then there's Grundy and likely Petty
  19. IRW replied to demon3165's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Remind me how many games Petty played forward.. It's a speculation, not a solution. Smith won't be an answer and that's not bad luck. TMac and BBB..they have to suck it up and find alternatives...should have done it 2 seasons ago notwithstanding a few cameos that were never going to last

Yeah Dermie is mostly nonsense without completion. This one is correct.. the need for JVR to learn his position as well as the need for a big body; but how would you " sell" MFC to a big forward you wanted to lever out of another Club And what trade price would you ask if it meant Melbourne was going to be a serious threat to your Club?
  21. Ground hog day..a perfect summary. Only one thing needs to change and it's name is Goodwin. All the reasonable observations the frustrations and theoretical possible fixes are really just blah blah blah. Still ,its a good movie if you like a complete lack of authority and hoping the dice will fall correctly every so often to keep you at the table
  22. Hilarious Post Clubhouse leader
  23. Mate if he played for Melbourne we would be saying something altogether different such as his regret for the accident, how he's devastated at what he has caused and that he accepts his aggression has to tempered in the future. In reality he may be genuinely remorseful..you don't know and neither do I . Put a sock in it and go for the AFL and their two faced self serving response to most everthing. Maynard should have got 3 weeks minimum ( however they work it out) and the rules clarified. I imagine MFC will get very little joy from the system and trust that Gus will be around the Club in some shape or form while he moves on with his new career. Ongoing best medical oversight is the least the AFL should provide
  24. One would hope so eventually
