Similar to what happened in the Neeld era. My take is that supporters have lost faith with the coach(as I have), particularly his rehashing of the same old spin after every game.

Collingwood supporters hold the coaches & Board accountable otherwise they torch the place while Melbourne supporters tend to kneel down & tug their forelocks & cop the spin from the Club.

DIT - Mate I speak as a loyal 50 year supporter. Our Supporters are angry because we have wasted a golden opportunity to grab 2 or 3 flags. Our weakness is that we have too many supporters who are enablers & make excuses (God bless you Ghosty) & blindly support the coaches & administrators regardless of their performance & results. I hate Collingwood with a passion but their supporters don't put up with poor results - they demand success otherwise they riot - and good on them. They demand success or else whereas our supporters just make excuses.

These comments are odd. Adams is quick & he had more disposals & marks than Kentfield. And Sestan is in a good patch of form & hasn't looked slow to me.

At least I support the Club instead of fawning to individual players. At least I put the Club's interests first instead of fawning adulation to individual players. Clarry got around $70,000 for last week's effort even though he didn't turn up.

The only lack of respect I see is by the player towards the Club & the supporters who provide his pay. Pocketing $1million a year & delivering a $400,000 performance.

Fullarton fully deserved his opportunity & may do so again if he keeps putting his hand up. Actually good form at VFL level is still pretty relevant & Goodwin has a history of ignoring good VFL form & rushing back players who are either not fit or not in any form. It was definitely part of the reason he wrecked our chances in 2022.

Agree that Fullo deserved a chance but hasn't shown anything so back to Casey. You have got to be kidding to suggest we ruined Weid's career by rucking him. Weid just couldn't cut it as a key forward at 2 different clubs. Lacked desperation & couldn't hold his marks. Ironically some of his best footy was at Casey as an undersized ruckman in their flag year.

Lindsay is a quality player but I didn't think he's done enough to get a nomination. Still it's all a bit subjective so good luck to him.

Fully agree. He's been living on the GF performance ever since. Has been poor since mid 2024. Lazy, sloppy skills by hand & foot & selfish ie rarely gives off to players in better position.

Ironic that you should mention Peter Bell because early on in Freos entry they traded away Jeff Farmer, Mathew Lloyd & Scott Lucas as well as letting Andrew McLeod slip through their fingers. Then they let Bell go after a handful of games & he became a champion at North. Almost as poor trading as Footscray in the 1970's.

Nothing to do with "unlucky". They are obsessed with luring back high profile West Australians & it often blows up in their face or is poor value for $$ ie Des Headland, Harley Bennell, Jesse Hogan & the Col Sylvia trade was also a disaster

If Freo had been smarter they would have kept Lloyd Meek instead of trading for Jackson. Ditto trading for Hogan & hanging on to Lachie Neale might have been an idea.

Freo & to a lesser degree have got a terrible history of overpaying for returning WA players, Harley Bennell, Hogan, Tim Kelly which invariably blows up in their face.

Agree you ARE waaaay off target. Spargo is nowhere near a great player. He is a good team man & role player. Culley's disposal is barely at AFL level, just turns it over too much. So far Sharp has shown little. He has pace but seems timid & has average skills - about on par with Oskar Baker.
