Playing unfit & underdone players became a Goodwin trademark in his last years.

Actually plenty have been critical of list management for a few years. List managers are supposed to improve us not send us backwards. Losing Bedford, Hunt, Jordon, Grundy, & Harmes & gaining Dunstan, Schache, Fullerton, Billings & McAdam took us backwards.

This comparison highlights how smart Geelongs list management is & how poor ours has been for several years. Both players are around the same age & ability although Martin has played more. Shane cost a 2nd round pick & commands a hefty salary while Jack cost Cats nothing & is probably on minimum pay with performance bonuses. And dont start me on Tom Stewart, Tyson Stengle or Shaun Mannagh also picked up for a song. We need our list managers to smarten up.

Me too. He was in great form for Casey mid year & looked set to debut until he got injured & he is a beautiful kick. Don't think the Frankston game helped as he was very poor that night.

Still heading up the ever diminishing Conga line of Goodie apologists I see. Gonna be a very lonely place.

The job of the Board is to make decisions in the best interests of the Club & they have done that. And whether Goodwin is a good bloke or not is totally irrelevant. I'm sure Mark Neeld is a good bloke.

Whether the new coach is a dud or not is a completely separate issue. Goodie the 🤡 grossly underachieved given the quality of the list he had for 9 years. Should have been sacked 2 years ago.

The management to get them back on track has been outstanding! Outstanding you say. That's got to be the most absurd statement of the Goodie the 🤡 era. Even the real Wayne Wussell would be gobsmacked.

Read the post properly BM. It was obvious to most observers that Lindsay needed a rest 6 or so weeks ago. The management of some of the younger players has been terrible this year - Lindsay, Kolt, McVee & Windsor.

Lindsay was struggling 6 weeks ago. Very poor management not to rest him and/or play him at Casey. Typical of the Goodwin era.

And the worst tactical match day coach ever. Even worse than Dennis Jones. A smidgin of sensible tagging would have won us round 1 & the 2 St Kilda games & allowing Geelong to have loose defenders was suicide that even rookie coaches avoid. Good riddance.

Yeah right. Had the best defence, midfield & ruck in the comp for 5-6 years & some handy fwds for 1 measly flag - epic fail. That will always stick in my craw.

You are forgetting 2019 & 2020 where we should have contended but were both disasters. And did I mention 2017 ??

I thought he was the catalyst for underachievement of a great list. 1 Flag with 2 disastrous years either side of 2021 is a bitter disappointment for supporters. And the icing on the cake is a humiliating last quarter record in his second last game.

I lost all respect following his total BS at endless pressers & his refusal to acknowledge where the team was at. A 55 year supporter came up with Goodie the 🤡 18 months ago. I find it apt.

You're barking up the wrong tree. We all love Kolt & want him to be a great player. We are cranky because he has been badly mismanaged this year & was rushed into the firsts without any form or fitness. Really an appalling effort by 🤡 the Clown

It's quiet different for new players compared to experienced players. Collingwood clearly get it right while Melbourne get it wrong. Tholstrup, Windsor, McVee & Lindsay have all been managed very poorly this year.

This is the Goodwin playlist. It's in the Goodwin DNA & has been doing all his career but turbocharged it from 2022. It's become his trademark. You rush back unfit or out of form players straight into the firsts then watch them struggle - he's stuffed up Petty, Tholstrup, Spargo, Lever, Windsor & others.

What's a Judd denier ??? We're simply stating the obvious - that he is a talented young player who is having a poor year. He was cut to pieces by Rankine & mostly clueless & hesitant last Sunday.
