  1. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  2. Last roll of the dice - stick him in the back pocket @ Casey for a few games & see what happens.

And let's not forget Goodwin is arguably the worst match day tactician going round. His failure to pick up unmanned Geelong defenders last week was ludicrous. We may as well have just stopped at the half way mark and handed the ball over to a Geelong player.

We've had what one good CEO (Jackson) in about the last 10. The other nine were mostly duds. Our success rate has OT been good.

The CEO would have input but coach removal would have to be approved by the Board.
  6. Yes that's what the smart recruiters do. Target a player specific to their needs who might be struggling for game time. Bedford & Meek are prime examples.
  7. Didn't think I'd ever agree with you but I do. The trading has been putrid. Consider we let go of Frost, Hunt, Bedford, Jordon, Harmes, Baker & brought in Dunstan, Schache, Hunter, McAdam, Grundy & Billings.
  8. The smart recruiters identify young talent that struggles a bit to get regular games ie Bedford, Jordon, Bobby Hill while the dumb recruiters grab 27 or 28 year old hacks who are looking for a bit of superannuation top up.

Really ??? We have no back up key defenders or small defenders. The cupboard is bare of key forwards. No decent back up ruck. The midfield is old & one paced. Or secondary picks & trades in the last few years have taken the list backwards ie Schache, Laurie, McAdam, Billings, Fullerton. But hey it's all good.

Rewriting history here. Actually he coached well in 2018, 2021 and arguably 2023. 2017 was an abject failure, 2019 & 2020 were disasters, 2022 was a badly missed opportunity & 2024 was probably out of his control. He was given a great list & has squandered it.
  11. Jeez the usual Conga line of Goodie acolytes who shot down any criticism of him in 2024 seem to have all faded away.
  12. Not sure that keeping a coach because a couple of players might leave if he is replaced is a very rational or logical decision.
  13. Jeez the usual conga line of Goody apologists is surprisingly quiet post game.
  14. Maybe we could set up a sort of "Spanish Inquisition" to interrogate & deal with recalcitrant supporters.
  15. Never liked him as as player, he seemed to do dumb stuff on the field maybe I'm biased because came from Collingwood.
  16. No but I'm sorry he's not on the Board. You take it somewhere else.
  17. Some marriages are not worth continuing. If fans lose confidence in the administration then support will drop off until changes are made.
  18. Yes well it was pretty hard to get motivated to to go to games last year when we were playing so poorly.
  19. What actually turned people off was the dysfunctional administration doing nothing & pretending everything was just peachy. Try replaying Goody & Pert's interview from 12 months ago.
  20. That's an understatement BM. They have had our measure totally. Longmuir has totally pantsed Goodwin. Freo treat us as a joke. Big Time for revenge.
  21. Not if most of the tickets are free it's not
  22. Please it's nappies - isn't there an autocorrect for yank jargon
  23. Doesn't matter where Goody sits - he just needs to a - stop using game plans that are not working b - put players in their rightful positions c - stop playing injured, unfit & out of form players.
  24. Nice analogy but who is Mrs Slocum & who plays Mr Humphries?
  25. If it's more than 2 standard paragraphs long no Demonlanders will read it.
