PREGAME: Rd 03 vs Gold Coast
We'll lose Lever and Jeffo this week to injury at a minimum. May won't be back this week, neither will Windsor, leaving us woefully shallow depth wise. Fritsch has been needing a spell since last year, but he won't get one because our injury list is so extensive. Out : Lever, Jefferson, Woewodin, Howes In : Langford, Johnson, Campbell, Adams

Farewell Adam Tomlinson
To add to that, you only have to look at our record when Tomlinson played over the last couple of seasons. Between 2021 and 2023 he played in 21 wins and 5 losses.

NON-MFC: Trade Talk
Richmond have fleece Freo in this deal. And have so much flexibility now with this and the expected GC trade for Rioli. Crazy good draft hand.

Wade Derksen
Ignoring Tom Campbell are we? A "ruck" 13 years in the system, now at his 4th club at 32 years old, played only 50 games and is barely taller than most forwards? Talk about wasting a list spot

Farewell Alex Neal-Bullen
I'm still confused how we are getting our pick back we traded last year for McAdam. Regardless of the number (25,28 whatever), it's still our 2nd round pick. According to the multiple versions of the AFL trade rules (9.7) that ive read, clubs can't directly trade out a pick and then trade it back in from the same club that it went to so how can this be possible without a third party touching that pick first?

Farewell Josh Schache
And you know this how exactly

Pick 25 for McAdam
Correct me if I'm wrong but they can't send our own pick back to us would have to be a different 2nd rounder
- VOTES: Rd 08 vs Geelong

Harrison Petty
It would have to be 10, McAdam AND Fogarty or Thilthorpe for Petty otherwise it's not even worth contemplating

Jack Gunston
Brisbane have released a statement saying he wants to go back to the Hawks. Assuming the Hawks want him back and can do a deal to satisfy Brisbane that is.
-
Jack Gunston
I'd be keen, would add a different dimension to the forward line, some hardness and precision and experience, 2 years ala jordan lewis style, not huge money and a late pick, for the right price there's upside there

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 11
I don't think there's any need for that. As for points, they are relevant in that we gave up a pick (35) that we could have used to help engineer the McAdam and Fullerton trades or a trade to get higher in the draft. Teams giving up high picks value points as a way to assess whether they got a fair and equitable deal.

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 11
Silly move, 1300 points for 2300 points. Crazy.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
North's pick was only 44, so I hope we aren't discussing accepting that pick. Unless we are talking about the End of First from north for next year, because that would be the only acceptable option there.

Lochie O’Brien
I think we are a bit light on for depth in that area to be fair, whenever Langdon or Hunter go down we have to draw from other areas which weakens the forward line, midfield or half back line. Having someone in the twos waiting and putting pressure on the position (for the right price) isn't a bad idea.
