  1. Jason Taylor Record is starting to look like that of Prendagast Petracca over De Goey Weiderman over Curnow/McKay Spargo over constable Petty over Petrucelle outside of first rounders, over 5 year period from 2013-2018, he has only managed to successfully draft 1 walk up starter in our 22 (Harmes). It’s no wonder we seriously lack any depth....
  2. Jason Taylor has only nailed 1 late pick (Harmes) whose a walk up in our 22 in 5 years between 2013-2017. 2018 isn’t looking much better. Explains why we have no depth...
  3. Honestly it’s pretty damning, from 5 years of picks we can only comfortably say 1 pick (Harmes) is a walk up start in our 22.
  4. Taylor picks (After first round). I have not included 2018 as too early to tell. At best we can say he has picked 7 good out of 24, but that being said those 7 , it includes Joel Smith, Tim Smith and Fritsch which in reality the judges probably still out on. We could probably say comfortably that 4 out of 24 have been strong picks. When we have only brought in 4 decent players via the draft over 5 years (outside of first rounders) it makes you wonder how we can field a quality side. 2013 JKH - Miss Pick Hunt - Good Pick Clisby - Miss Pick Harmes - Good Pick King - Miss Pick Georgiou - Miss Pick 2014 ANB - Miss Pick Stretch - Good Pick VDB - Miss Pick White - Miss Pick 2015 King - Miss Pick Hulett - Miss Pick Wagner - Miss Pick Michie - Miss Pick Joel Smith - Good Pick 2016 Hannan - Good Pick Johnstone - Miss Pick Filipovic - Miss Pick Tim Smith - Good Pick Keity - To Be Decided 2017 Spargo - Miss Pick Fritsch - Good Pick Petty - Miss Pick Baker - Miss Pick
  5. We can on trade the pick for an injury prone defender.
  6. Don’t forget Oscar Baker or JKH
  7. Brayshaw, Trac and Salem were no brainers at that pick. Early picks. I give him Harmes, that was a good pickup but a broken clock is also right twice a day. I am aware pick trading is not Taylor, else I would also be talking about trading out 3 first rounders for injury prone defenders.
  8. Now that’s just speculation with no hard facts. Facts like Taylor opting to draft Casey players over the best available.
  9. Do yourself a favor and don’t look up Jason Taylor’s record. Anyone remember Hulett? Viv Michie? Max King? Filipovic? Dion Johnson? I can keep on going.
  10. Would have Kent and Howe in our best 22 right now ahead of Weiderman, Sparrow, OMac, Jordan or anyone else Taylor has picked up late
  11. Mate, you genuinely think that all the Casey players we drafted were dead set best available when we picked them? Surely your taking the [censored]. Surely
  12. We used to get players like Howe, Kent, TMac in later rounds. Now we just get a bunch of Casey players because Taylor isn’t bothering to scout further out to find the best available. Outside of Oliver I can’t think of any other pick Taylor has nailed.
  13. Agree, we traded up for picks and then he raises eye brows and drafts Sparrow and Jordan much higher then anyone expected. Both unlikely to make it in AFL.
  14. Need a sack Jason Taylor thread. Hasn’t picked up any solid picks in a few years.
  15. Melbourne Kangaroos is more likely. Then we get Tyson back.
  16. Wow Nick Vlastuin 28 disposals down back. We could’ve drafted him but instead drafted Jimmy Toumpas.
  17. It’s not a coincidence that every one of our forwards is out of form. We know they can play, we have seen them before. It’s the coaching who needs to be held to account. Max Rooke.
  18. Reckon he will play the injuries card. It’s due to be played.
  19. I agree but tonight’s game I put on our forward line. Defensive line held its own for majority of the match, midfield did OK, forward line has gone to the tip and every player who plays there (TMac, Weid, Petracca, Spargo ect).
  20. Hopefully sacking Chaplin, Misson and Rooke
  21. Petracca is being coached by Rooke. Can’t blame him
  22. Over 50 inside 50s for 1 goal since quarter time is not acceptable for any line coach. Watching the tigers jog out time and time again with little to no pressure is not acceptable. Obviously Rooke is not up for it. Needs to be moved on.
  23. Max Rooke isn’t up to it as forward coach. 1 goal since quarter time with so many inside 50s. Fails to keep it in the attacking 50 to
  24. Hogan got more touches and score in one game then May and Weiderman combined over the last 3 weeks.
