Why would they entertain that swap not knowing whose available at pick 5? They will just wait until they know.

Adelaide won’t trade up until the live drafting happens. They would have 2 options 1. Trade for pick 5 now and hope player x is there 2. Wait until player x is there and then trade for pick 5. Obviously option 2 makes more sense for them.
