  11. MFC & Casey Inside Football player ratings & comments for Round 6 Melbourne v Sydney, Round 6, MCG 7 - Tom McDonald - Super duel with Franklin. Held him goalless but both players had an impact 7 - Christian Salem - Best game so far running off half back. A few errors but impressive night 6 - Jesse Hogan - Despite poor supply continued to work hard to find the footy 6 - Daniel Cross - Tried hard and gave 100% at the contests but wasnt a big factor 5 - Jeff Garlett - A spectator in first half then came alive after main break 5 - Dom Tyson - Hasnt been able to break free this season and was well held again 5 - Nathan Jones - Wasnt able to generate his normal drive from the middle 5 - Aaron vandenBerg - Tore in and used frame to advantage but couldnt swing momentum 5 - Bernie Vince - Tried to latch onto a few different Swans with moderate success 5 - Heritier Lumumba - Battled on but wasnt able to get his typical running game going 5 - Ben Newton - Kicking was unusually off at times but at least got into the game 5 - Billy Stretch - Goalled with first kick in league footy and didnt look out of place 4 - Angus Brayshaw - Quietest game at senior level so far. Couldnt get into it 4 - Lynden Dunn - Tippett got him early with three goals but continued to fight hard 4 - Colin Garland - Rough night on a few different opponents. Lacked confidence 4 - Jeremy Howe - Just padding at the moment down back. A move forward might re-ignite him 4 - Cameron Pedersen - Backed up Spencer in ruck but wasnt much of a factor in attack 4 - Jimmy Toumpas - Got a bit of the ball but lacked incisiveness. Ability to cover ground a worry 3 - Chris Dawes - Unsighted until final term when he started to get his hands on ball 3 - Jake Spencer - Made Pyke look like Dean Cox at times. This level appears beyond him 2 - Jay Kennedy-Harris - Dropped a sitter in opening minute and didnt recover 2 - Jack Watts - Sub. At least was clean with ball when he came on Casey v Sandringham, Round 4, Casey Fields Max Gawn - Combined with Jamar to dominate hitouts. Took some good marks Jack Grimes - 31 possessions and a goal into the wind. Battled hard Mark Jamar - Won the ruck battle but wasnt a standout performer Viv Michie - One of the Scorpions most consistent performers. 25 touches Matt Jones - Huge first three quarters then cooled late. 31 possessions Jordie McKenzie - 20 hard-fought touches in loss to Sandringham Aiden Reilly - Battled hard but lacked class on a windy day Dean Terlich - Had trouble tracking Saad who was one of Sandys best Jack Fitzpatrick - Struggled in defence to cope with Mitch Browns movement Oscar McDonald - Kicked a late goal after a good mark. Showed a bit Alex Neal-Bullen - Used ball well when he got it and showed a bit Mitch White - Did some nice things down back but is still learning James Harmes - Struggled to have an impact Casey - Development League Max King - Three goals in development league win Jayden Hunt - Made return successfully in development league victory Did Not Play Rohan Bail - Senior Emergency Christian Petracca - Injured Jack Viney - Injured Dean Kent - injured Sam Frost - injured Neville Jetta - injured Jack Trengove - injured

  16. Load of BS, Lyon turned down a Richmond offer in 1992 that was far bigger than the Melbourne offer, His nickname is dollars because his parents won tatts. All you morons bagging Lyon havn't done jack for this club compared to Lyon. He deserves a hell of a lot more respect than he gets around here
  17. Tipped us against Richmond, what has tips got to do with loyalty
  18. Nothing has even come close to undoing what Lyon did for this club. It's rediculous people blame Lyon for the appointment, is not the board to blame ?
  19. How do you know how serious he is about his game?, dont think Gawny will be looking for anyones advice but the coaches
