  1. I know you were. WCW just said she didn't like him. Nothing more, nothing less. You are upset because "she behaved in a way that didn't suit you." You are arguing with yourself. Getting back to my question that you conveniently haven't answered. If a poster said they didn't like him, how is that assassinating his character?
  2. Wow. All she said was that she didn't like him. Is that assassinating his character? Aren't you a sensitive soul.
  3. Kate oversaw our most successful onfield era since 1964. She is arguably our best president since Bert Chadwick.
  4. I think the difference here is that the rumour is not potentially libellous.
  5. This is tiresome. The approach that these guys take is to say, "He wants to leave, but that does not imply he will go." He and the club are then labelled as liars. Morris used the same playbook with Trac, and Kane Cornes used it against Kossie last year. They always hedge their bets.
  6. Well that's a blast from the past.
  7. The harsh criticism by Jeff White during one of the games put McQualter in the spotlight, where he pointed out the incorrect positioning of our mids at centre bounces. I assume that would have McQ responsibility.
  8. True. I said it because I was / am [censored] off with this whole saga.
  9. I understand what you are saying and was thrilled when I heard that Trac was staying. However, if Ralph's claims are accurate, I believe now it will be difficult to mend this relationship.
  10. They are turning into an ugly couple. If this is true, the club should now get rid of him during this trade period and negotiate the best deal possible. This guy is not going to stick around after next year. If I were his manager, I would dump him. The club must be really [censored] off. Let another club spend time and resources getting him fit and well.
  11. I agree. His recovery will be long and slow. I fear he will have little to no preseason as we know it. From the photos I've seen, it appears he has lost a lot of muscle mass and would have lost a lot of aerobic fitness. It's going to take time. It will require very strong self-belief to get through this. How the club manages him will be critical.
  12. Talk about train wrecks. This whole segment was a train wreck. It is shameful and incredibly unethical of Tony Jones to blurt out, "Well done Melbourne media department," while mock applauding. Regarding the edited Roffey footage, Roffey's remarks were acceptable based on your opinion on board presidents' involvement in football-related affairs. The football department is responsible for informing the board of the problems, and as we have discovered over the last two weeks, Christian's concerns vary according to who he speaks with.
  13. I just said it was interesting. It must be a coincidence, yes?
  14. It's interesting that as soon as Roffey got involved, the matter was settled.
  15. Back off mate. Jaded has been a respected longtime poster and has runs on the board. You are just a babe in arms on this forum.
  16. Understand your feeling, and it is shared by most of us here, but maybe you need to hold fire until Carlton are out of the finals to see if there is an announcement from the Trac camp.
  17. No hyperbole you reckon. How the frickin hell do you know whether he could have died on the field? Do you have medical knowledge? Of course not.
  18. Boy, you have painted the Melbourne Football Club as the devil with your ridiculous hyperbole. Undoubtedly, he and his family experienced trauma, but it seems they have recovered quite quickly and realised that there is a buck in it if they throw the club under the bus and put it out there that Trac wants to be traded to "a big club" to enhance his brand. And as for your last comment, the club owes Trac nothing. In actual fact, its the other way around. The club has created an environment for Trac to excel and developed him into the player he is.
  19. Just hope its not JT.
  20. I understand what O'Keefe is saying, but I think our guy is a completely different dude.
  21. Didn't we end up with about the fifth highest crowd average in the league this season? We had a similar average to Geelong and Hawthorn.
  22. Slight problem draftees like Reid can't be traded in their first 2/3 years.
  23. Hopefully the club will offer him another 12 month contract that will make it worthwhile.
  24. Lazy response. How could you have stopped the Smith revelation, which came out of the blue and was taken out of our hands immediately? What would you have done differently in Clarrie's case?
