  1. I think the difference here is that the rumour is not potentially libellous.

This is tiresome. The approach that these guys take is to say, "He wants to leave, but that does not imply he will go." He and the club are then labelled as liars. Morris used the same playbook with Trac, and Kane Cornes used it against Kossie last year. They always hedge their bets.
  3. Well that's a blast from the past.
  4. The harsh criticism by Jeff White during one of the games put McQualter in the spotlight, where he pointed out the incorrect positioning of our mids at centre bounces. I assume that would have McQ responsibility.

True. I said it because I was / am [censored] off with this whole saga.

I understand what you are saying and was thrilled when I heard that Trac was staying. However, if Ralph's claims are accurate, I believe now it will be difficult to mend this relationship.

They are turning into an ugly couple. If this is true, the club should now get rid of him during this trade period and negotiate the best deal possible. This guy is not going to stick around after next year. If I were his manager, I would dump him. The club must be really [censored] off. Let another club spend time and resources getting him fit and well.

I agree. His recovery will be long and slow. I fear he will have little to no preseason as we know it. From the photos I've seen, it appears he has lost a lot of muscle mass and would have lost a lot of aerobic fitness. It's going to take time. It will require very strong self-belief to get through this. How the club manages him will be critical.

Talk about train wrecks. This whole segment was a train wreck. It is shameful and incredibly unethical of Tony Jones to blurt out, "Well done Melbourne media department," while mock applauding. Regarding the edited Roffey footage, Roffey's remarks were acceptable based on your opinion on board presidents' involvement in football-related affairs. The football department is responsible for informing the board of the problems, and as we have discovered over the last two weeks, Christian's concerns vary according to who he speaks with.

I just said it was interesting. It must be a coincidence, yes?
  11. damienjr replied to Demonland's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
It's interesting that as soon as Roffey got involved, the matter was settled.

Back off mate. Jaded has been a respected longtime poster and has runs on the board. You are just a babe in arms on this forum.
  13. Hopefully the club will offer him another 12 month contract that will make it worthwhile.
  14. If you had a choice between young Darcy from Bulldogs and LJ I’ll would go Darcy any day
  15. Gee that's a trip down memory lane.
  16. I think they would if it meant getting Kossie

Hi Wheelo, is there a reason why some stats are not shown in other games in Round 23, namely PA v Adel, WC v Car, StK v Gee and WB v NM?
  18. Is there anything arranged to acknowledge our retirees on Friday night, like a lap around the ground at halftime? I am mainly referring to Gus and BBB if he does not play. @WalkingCivilWar, have you heard anything?
  19. Is it your gut feeling from your interactions that Judd is happy where he is, considering he has yet to sign on after 2025?
  20. He's gone.
  21. After all he was talking to Kale Chandler
  22. Yes, I tend to agree. If he builds his tank and body over preseason, I can see him in a role not dissimilar to Fritsch, Melky or Gunston. Keep him away from being a go-to key forward.
  23. Yes I agree but I admit that I like Dwayne's commentary, particularly his zingers. He came out with one of his best during the last quarter when talking about Melbourne's tumultuous week: "You can look too deep into a burnt toast and see the image of Jesus".
  24. Is there a reason why Judd McVee has not signed beyond 2025?
