Sylvia's hit was worth nothing more than a free kick- which it didn't even get. Only really guilty of not having eyes for the ball. Also Tapscott's hit was wreckless, but no injury. Seeing as hits are only deemed ban-worthy if injuries are sustained I believe both will get off. Definitely want Tappy available to punch the [censored] out of $ully's face.

Changes for GWS following the bye- Out- Morton, Green In- Cook, Gysberts Morton out because his turnovers are akin to having an extra opponent. Momentum killer Green out because like his mate Davey, just looks like he is past it Cook comes in because there has been no better time, he has momentum at Casey and GWS will be a good introduction Gysberts comes in because we lack midfield class and he lacks AFL experience. Fitness maybe an issue but sub him out if need be Would love to see Couch come in but it's hard to drop Moloney or Sylvia because it would mean they get 2 weeks off. I am confused with what to do with these two. They need consecutive games to get them out of their funk

Yeah, Cale really screwed us with his turnovers. I think any progress he's made is still overshadowed by this flaw

Hmmmm... Stringer or Vlastuin.... Vlastuin sounds a little similar to Viney- both sound like freaks, would be wraped with either one. Imagine Vlastuin and Viney in the guts. Clearance problems solved in one foul swoop. Jones can be used more outside. I wonder how Gysberts will fit into the mix. He can get his own ball, but wouldn't have to. Stringer to me sounds more like an "icing on the cake" type player. Like that he can be swung anywhere. I kind of like that we won't have pick 1- takes the pressure off getting the pick right. I would be happy with anyone in that top 5. This makes my decision to grab Cloke even more justified. I truely believe we can solve our clearance problems with this draft. Good times.

I don't know but all reports are he should be able to mix it with AFL experienced players from round 1, and although I don't expect him to dominate, he is already a clearance freak. He would have to be the best clearance player at our club already. I heard someone refer to him as "a more angry Mitchell.." I like this comparison. What if our first pick after Viney is a skinny kid? Would he get a gig over Tynan/Taggert first up? Probably not. What are we going to do about our lack of small forward? Who is available in this "super draft" to fix this problem?

But they aren't pick number 1's- they would probably say. Apparently if you get picked up at number 1- even though you have no say in that- you should be great from day dot. That's the way it works..
