  1. They'll give Hogan another week to recover. There's no way they'll change the lineup after that win.
  2. With an average of 196 games of experience or something. Laughable.
  3. If it took you until 8.30pm to get home, the trains must have been stuffed.
  4. No - it was brilliant. And all anybody is talking about is Rioli's 'mark of the year contender'. Spare me.
  5. Pedo, for his absolute fucken screamer today. What a grab. Went completely unnoticed after Rioli's much inferior mark, when the commentators collectively jizzed themselves.
  6. Agree. I'd give him a run at CHB and see how he went. I reckon he'd dominate.
  7. I just can't understand why people want to all of a sudden start talking about which players will be going out, five seconds after the players who did play brought us probably the best win we've had in 15 years.
  8. Joeboy often talks a bunch of balls. I assume you're talking about Garlett. He played down back and on the wing in a tagging role, and was much more involved than joeboy gives him credit for.
  9. You probably didn't take into account the 7 that were given by the umpires.
  10. I agree completely. They're just much more obvious than, say, Kent stuffing up a kick going into 50. Although Kent was great today too
  11. Just on that, can you imagine if Watts had rocked up to the current FD as an 18 year old? He'd be an absolute bloody star. Still want Oliver in the magoos? Sorry, but he is absolutely nothing like Gysberts. That was sensational. He's a beast. Some of those tackles were 2 in a row in the last, when we were a couple of goals up. It really kicked our intensity into gear. He's a leader at 19.
  12. To be fair, he does have some absolute brain farts and, given where they occur, they often cost us goals. But so did Kent last week, and Brayshaw this week. Tom is clearly instructed to take the game on and when his kicks hit the target, we get out and it looks fantastic. He is one of the best KPDs in the league, let alone for his age. He is just an essential signing.
  13. Good. Roll with it. I actually don't. I think they all had a red hot crack today.
  14. Go on, old dee, name him and be done with it. I'm not surprised it's you focussing on the one negative on such an utterly brilliant day.
  15. It will be really interesting, I think. Often age catches up with players really quickly, and it seems that most of their older brigade are fairly marginal for next year (thinking in particular of Hodge and Burgoyne). Mitchell, Lewis and Gibson only have a year or two left I would think, after those two. If their old players all crash at the same time, it leaves a big hole. They have a profile like St Kilda and North, in that the older players hold the team together. That's hugely different to teams like GWS, the Dogs and us, where the younger players are the ones pushing through and driving performance. Anyway, Tom McDonald. Just can't imagine him not signing up to be part of this, and it will be a huge loss if he doesn't.
  16. And let's just completely ignore the picking up the bloke with the ball by one leg and driving him into the ground. How is that not even being mentioned? He's clearly been learning from his mates Hodge, Mitchell and Lewis.
  17. That's because he is a dirty, filthy, punch behind the play sniper. Won't even be cited, as usual. Filth of the highest order.
  18. I actually laugh when I think of Frawley - yeah, sure, he won a cheap flag last year, but they are definitely on the slide. They'll make the mistake of letting all their aging stars go around next year, will have a pretty average time of it, and will chop them all at the end of next year. You saw today that Cyril is the only important player they have under 30. Gunston and the rest will be much less effective once they're not getting delivery from Mitchell, Hodge, Lewis, Gibson and Burgoyne. They're done, and Frawley will be playing with a rubbish team again. Good luck to him.
  19. Disagree. We could well have taken Brayshaw and left Petracca on the table. Even if we swapped Brayshaw for Frawley, I'd take it every day of the week. We'll be fine.
  20. This. He was incredible today - Frost and Oscar coming along really nicely as well.
  21. Was immense today. His contested work has been off the charts compared to where he was. Good on him - couldn't be happier for him. It's great seeing the footy world finally take notice of him too.
