A more than revealing podcast from The New York Times ... well worth a listen. Towards the end of the 30 minute podcast a suggestion was made that these groups might decide to bide their time for a year or 2. And that they are not going away in a hurry Is More Violence Coming? And here's a revealing article from SBS FBI warns armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols ahead of Joe Biden's inauguration

Whilst I'm not at all surprised at the storming of the US Capital, the worst may well still be ahead of us Apparently there are 50 planned armed 'Rallies' earmarked for the 50 State capitals (in the last fews days of the run-up to the Biden inauguration) This is according to the FBI (use google for more details) A frightening prospect even if only a few of these rallies get going They're going to need a lot of law enforcement just to quell things down. The reports are very real too, not scaremongering These people are fanatical and they seem to have a complete disregard for the law. And they number in the millions If we get say, 3 (of 50) carbon copies with what happened at the Congress building, lives will be lost. Many lives (especially when considering their archaic gun laws) Parler has been shut down at least but there are numerous other forms of social media where these fanatics can organise themselves I'm all for free speech as long as it doesn't endanger peoples lives

There is too much money at stake (Broadcast rights money predominately) for the games not to be played in some way (reduced quarters and/or reduced season again?) There will be hubs or no hubs but the games will somehow be played regardless. Remembering that the players are still 'supposed' to be paid so without any real income, the clubs will go broke The NFL & EPL have continued on in a relentless manner despite both the USA & UK being ravaged by covid. Mostly empty stadiums as well. NBA as well And many of the teams from those 3 competions have had numerous players test positive left, right & centre. Still the games go on TV ratings through the roof have resulted. Ratings so good that the broadcasters may have to fork out more dosh in time. Same story here in Oz Big sport & big money rules. The Sydney cricket test match went ahead despite widespread condemnation. The players will be told to play or take a huge pay cut or perhaps not get paid at all. They'll play. Money talks

Give Goodell a call ... he might be able to help! I work 6 days a week like you do but not Sundays and not until after lunch on a Monday so I'll be able to watch all the games I taped the Cleveland game but kept an eye on the scores. What the hell happened early?

For a while there you looked the winner Gorg The things I needed to happen to get my multi's up just happened to involve the teams that a few here were relying on in the comp Seattle coming back and Titans in a close one delivered for quite a few So got 3 multi's up with close to a 4 figure outcome again (all up) so a happy camper here. The teams that needed to win did win Your Rams made it and now you go to Seattle. GB get the week off which I believe will help the team. All the match-ups look interesting in fact 6 playoff games next Sunday & Monday ... should be able to watch at least 5 of the 6 - Bliss! Which team (or teams) are gonna get hot?
