  1. Absolutely...need to be a bit more deliberate. Last week there was some major wastage at goal going on by too many
  2. Im down at the Barrasi pub having a pre-match quiet one or two. Busting to go to the loo but now a bit anxious to kick the door open ....thanks WC
  3. Disspointed you didnt offer to sign him up then and there! Btw your new Nick on here has now been shortened to WC
  4. Wondering if we would have been better fared bringing in Baker to cover ANB's role instead of Melk?? Although Melk is probably better at that kick coming inside .... oh well.
  5. Did i just see Bolton look to pass 45 meters backward from deep in the forward pocket??
  6. Top 5 (on averages) here are.... 1. Tracc 8.7 2. Clarry 7.5 3. ANB (equal third with Dunstan but of course Dunstan's isn't an average) 7.0 4. Your nickname sake BB 6.3 ; and 5. Fritta with 5.5 Harmes is just behind Fritta on 5.3 If Dunstan fires up with a similar output to last week i reckon we are well covered here
  7. JB just said "they appear to be having trouble connecting"... Hodgey just giggled Has a penchant for stating the bleeding obvious at times
  8. I realise there are a number of factors that turn a team into a bag of spuds (happens to the best of us 😂) but does anyone think something similar to this might be on the cards for you know who next year!?....
  9. Must've been an outstanding Shiraz Uncle
  10. Supply chain issues.... Covid strikes again!
  11. Will be interesting to see where Buntine is at. Had a very interrupted career so far with a few bad head knocks, ACL etc. Mind you it wasn't all bad news for the young fella...
  12. Michell had a day out against us the last time we played in the draw. Newcomb while very inexperienced is playing some very good damaging footy and seems to have a semi decent tank at least for 3 quarters. Worpel a bit hit n miss. Omeara is off at the mo but you never know. If their mid clicks they can be pretty dangerous and they move the ball quickly into the forward line from center under 666. Big incentive with Bruce down there. Rarely misses. They got off to a flyer against the Swans last week who often do that to others at times (at one stage near end of the first it was 34-7 or so) and were right in it up to about the 10 minute mark of the last where they seemed to run out of puff and lose their structure around the ball. We would want to be at our best and have our kicking boots on.
  13. Suspect Weid will do the pinch hitting work in the middle but probably very limited. Duties shared between him, BB & Maxy up forward. Plugger might get the odd look in if no one else is about to take it but would expect zero otherwise.
  14. I don't often agree with your selections W but that feels about right ...subject to no further outs!
  15. A few jabs of the good stuff will fix that Dazzle. Rest of the year to recover 😄
  16. Max can cover their Jnr fella this week and forecast looks likely to be wet & greasy. Maybe a bit of minor pinch hitting in the middle (and occasionally in the F50) from either Weid and/or Plugger Mac. The wet weather would be better suited to Macca or Melk coming in. Daw is no doubt a handy ruck foil and intercept mark a kick behind the play or occasionally resting forward but that's it IMV. Once the ball hits the deck or is in motion he really struggles and he's a pretty dodgy set shot for goal. Doubt there's any chance the MC would play him in the wet and we would have to be very low on stocks before he'd be anywhere near the picture for a senior call up under even the finest conditions. Unless, Lucifer forbid, both Max & Dogga were both out at the same time.
  17. As in if to many players go down you might be needed this week!
  18. So Dunstan gets another shot....unless of course he also got.... I reckon Dazzle and a few others here might need to get down to training tomorrow
  19. T-Mac used to handle a bit of ruck work, mostly forward of course. Probably takes the odd one now but he's mostly covered off by one of Dogga or Gawn and is a rare go to of late But with Dogga out? I would say they will still go with the Weid as a pinch hitting (read put body next to opposing ruckman, contest but no we aren't expecting you to ever win a tap to advantage) ruck up forward. Anyway all speculation until we have confirmation of who has the bloody lurgy.
