I said it in the other thread and I’ll reiterate it here Why the [censored] would Humphrey want to come play for us? We can’t even get Flanders to commit at this stage and his only other suitors are bloody St Kilda and Essendon. Essendon?!!

No offense to my beloved club, but why the [censored] would Humphrey come to us? Let’s say in some dream world Gold Coast are willing to trade him for Trac because they’re high, why would Humphrey choose to play for us and not say the Pies, who play in front of 80,000+ each week, rarely travel and just made another prelim? Yes you definitely want to drive to Casey, play in Alice, enjoy Sunday night time slots and have mids kick over your head. It’s the dream!

Look King might have aces up his sleeve. This could be his McRae moment. But unless he’s bringing in Naicos 2.0, I can’t see how we go forward without going backwards. Which again I’m fine with, but that’s not what we are being sold.

But when Mitch Cleary that [censored] nuffy follows Clarry around harassing him in his time off, chasing him like a [censored], and is told to F off, then that is the problem. Because if you went to the airport and had someone chasing you with a microphone, who has spent all day writing poorly about you, you wouldn't do the same. 3 years of relentless harassment and abuse of Clarry, versus the kid glove handling of JUH, Smith and so on. Give me a break, and most importantly give him a break.

We must have some good mids on the hook in the trade period to be pushing Clarry out and seeing Trac off. Or, again, Bailey Laurie's voodoo doll has been working overtime.

King was on radio very early this morning. Could have told the media I am meeting with a few players today including Clarry and we will discuss their roles moving forward. Whatever you think of Clarry, or any other player for that matter, the way you handle their exists matter. Did I say he was a victim? Does he deserve to be toyed with for 3 years in a row? He had an offer from Geelong last year, and he wanted to go, and the club said no. He never wanted to leave, we keep pushing him out, then dragging him back in. That is a poor way to handle someone, anyone, let alone a 4 time B&F winner.

Clarry is a soft target, for the media, and for some at the club to lay blame on. If for the third year in a row we publicly try to throw him in the bin, then we better just do it already. To keep toying and embarrassing him like that is a pathetic way to handle a champion player. I hope the club knows what they are doing, because history suggest that they have NFI

Also incorrect. And also highly highly unlikely that we will move Clarry's entire salary if he does move, especially if we go down the route of framing this as a fire sale. Unless you are happy to trade him for a fourth round pick.
