Oliver out with general soreness (sounds like just resting) Salem out with hamstring tightness, which is no good. He’s had issues with hamstrings before. Hopefully nothing a rest can’t fix.

I really thought the return to longer quarters did us a great service. We looked fit and full of running at the back end of each quarter, which ultimately proved vital for the win. We were missing plenty of players who would be walk up 22 players, and would make a big difference to us structurally. So overall a very good win.

Tackling down back is very sloppy. Their smalls continue to destroy us. We desperately need to find some good solid small defenders.

Exactly right. Nearly all major knee injuries / operations often result in minor ongoing issues, especially for athletes. I am happy the club jumped on the swelling as soon as it became an issue. Better to nip it in the bud early and have him play the majority of the season / his career pain free.
