I think Goody loves Tom Sparrow in the mix because it means we don't lose much physically when we are resting one of our midfield bulls. He is not at the same level of Trac, Clarry or Viney, but he is still a competitive beast and we don't get outmuscled when he's in there, so it allows us to give the other guys a rest, and it especially allows us to give Trac more time up forward. Frankly I don't see him being dropped. He is too important to the rotation. We could bring Tmac in and play Gawn /Jackson behind the ball instead. Still doesn't resolve who drops out.

I just don't understand why tickets don't get released in order of membership premiums. FFS I pay $700 a year and have a reserved seat. Why am I fighting with plebs with ****ty interstate and armchair memberships (no offense to any of you who have these memberships!) for a good seat? As far as I understand, for the grand final, tickets get released in priority batches. If you have a GF guarantee with your membership, you are priority 1. Why then, are all finals not the same? And WTF is with being able to get 10 tickets per barcode? That should only be allowed when general admission is released.

Agreed. Fat chance Salem and Jackson aren't fit for finals in a week and a half with those minor injuries. Brilliant to have another full list available heading into finals.

Yep that’s what happened to me. I had both going. Sounds like the M50-M52 bays will be full of Melbourne which is great. Just like home games. Bring it on!

Honestly Essendon will just chew him up and spit him out if he doesn't win them a flag within 2 years. Only Hird, the golden drug pusher, could destroy their club for a decade and still be welcomed back with a hug. So let them have each other. I wonder if Essendon will try to poach Hinkley, which would then open the door for Yze to go to Port. A far better option. Big difference is, we had no home advantage against the Pies, we played North and Eagles both away from home (they got one of each), and we travelled interstate 3 times from round 18 onwards versus Geelong twice, including the last round of the season.

I did some digging. Us, Sydney, Geelong and Collingwood but only Priority 1 members all at 10am tomorrow. Collingwood Priority 2 members from 10:30. I predict the site will crash at 10:01am tomorrow.

Same. I just want to clarify that the AFL and Ticketek in their wisdom are letting ALL club members of ALL competing clubs have access to tickets at the exact same time tomorrow?

It matters to me that Geelong get the softest draw when they were a top 4 team. It would also matter to me if we finished 3rd and lost a home final because Sydney had a soft draw when they too made finals last year. There will always be anomalies. Nobody thought Pies will finish top 4 and Port and Dogs were clearly both thought of as contenders. But the reality is that Geelong finished top 4 and yet they played the wooden spooners twice and West Coast twice, who didn't make the 8 and were wildly tipped to be rubbish this season.

They finished bottom 4 though, so I can understand why. As I said above, what's the excuse for Geelong?!
