  1. So May told Petty to go forward and Petty was like “yep sure dude I’m off”? And Goody knew nothing about it? In an elimination final? I call BS.
  2. That’s fair. We were comprehensively outplayed that game. The margin flattered us more than any other game this season.
  3. We also didn't have 100,000 members and millions of dollars. But still....
  4. I'll be drunk.
  5. I think the AFL had their own agenda. Firstly he's a big name player. Secondly Carlton were on the verge of making finals for the first time in a decade and were pulling massive crowds to games Thirdly it was clear that Cripps would feature heavily in the Brownlow. He had a great year and few at Carlton would steal votes off him, as Walsh had just an OK season and forwards don't win votes. As we all know, when it comes to certain players and clubs, the AFL likes to turn a blind eye to enable the best financial outcome for themselves. Cripps playing increases the chance of Carlton making finals, which increases the windfall for the AFL. It's that simple.
  6. But Miochek got 3 votes for kicking 4 Queens Birthday… … ok I need to let it go
  7. I will say it again. I like Cripps. He’s a gun player and comes across well. I liked him saying that he had to work hard on public speaking. I think it’s admirable to show vulnerability I have no issues with him winning a Brownlow. I do have a real issue with him winning one when he very clearly should have been ineligible.
  8. Tonight just proves that the world hates gingers, and I for one feel personally victimized.
  9. Cripps is a good player no doubt. But he didn’t deserve to even be eligible. He concussed a guy who then sat out multiple weeks. If his name is Chandler he cops 4 weeks. Instead he goes on to win the Brownlow. So much for the AFL protecting the head.
  10. The same player who won 2 coaches awards in a row mind you. But what do coaches know anyway.
  11. And you have something Cripps doesn’t. A premiership and 2 coaches awards.
  12. Oliver cannot buy a vote from these absolute maggots even when we win but Neale, Miller and Cripps all with votes in losing teams. This is why we have to stop letting umpires decide this award. They can’t make simple calls during games let alone after them.
  13. Because they only look at the stat sheets… except for when Oliver is playing
  14. Hopefully he gets his on Saturday when he loses and someone kicks him in the nuts.
  15. Oliver can’t even get a vote ahead of Melksham. I give up.
  16. Shame they didn’t do the same on Queens Birthday 🙄
  17. 1000%. Let’s go Touk! [censored] disgraceful if Cripps wins. No doubt he got off suspension because they knew he was gonna poll this way in the Brownlow. Absolute joke. I hate the AFL.
  18. What. The. [censored].
  19. So naturally will poll 1 vote 🙄
  20. Trac + Oliver > Every other midfielder
  21. If Oliver was surrounded by the same mediocrity as Neale, he too would win it. Sadly Petracca is taking away too many of his votes.
  22. Yep and won a Brownlow even tho he isn’t half the player Clarry is. Makes you think.
  23. And the last forward to kick 4 goals in a game and get 3 Brownlow votes ahead of a dominant midfielder performance is who?
  24. Incorrect. Cox became influential when Gawn went off. Oliver had 43 touches and a goal for Christ’s sake. That is a performance neither Cox nor Mihocek could ever replicate.
