  1. Now they have to bring everyone back because they can’t afford this limp display against the Pies. A strange time to do this. It feels to me like Hinkley is on a hiding to nothing. He basically has to win the flag or he’s gone. They went so hard early because another so so start to the season and he’d get sacked. I wonder how much his fear of sacking is impacting their plan for the season.
  2. It’s not. I just wanted to tag you in the post so you see it 😂 I am genuinely interested to know what you think Port will do for the remainder of the H&A season to make sure they hit peak form in September. I feel like they’ve gone too hard too early and tinkering now is very risky.
  3. I’m interested in your thoughts on how you think Port is going to “load” manage from here.
  4. Please. I’ll be watching a movie and drinking wine to avoid watching them play.
  5. They’ve beaten Gold Coast, Freo and Hawks. Let’s calm down. This is a good win, but Port absolutely cocky to drop this many players for a rest and think they’ll waltz it in. Rubbish call.
  6. Correct. Geelong still have to play Brisbane in Brisbane, Port and Pies. If they’re to overtake us we need to lose 2-3 more games and realistically they have to win every game.
  7. Port got cocky resting so many players this week. They’ve gone hard early in the season because Hinkley is under so much pressure. But the reality is, it could come back and bite them. July premiers do not September premiers make.
  8. I feel the same about Charlie Dixon. Chain smoking tradie who has a four and twenty pie and a can of coke pre game.
  9. Sees ball. Gets ball
  10. He made a very clear choice. He values his personal life over his football life. Good luck to him.
  11. In a perfect world, we don’t [censored] Gawn in rounds 1-16. We keep him fresh and then he can do what he did last night when it really matters. Gawn doing Gawn things in September, brings us that much closer to a flag. That is where Grundy’s value is. If we can get from him what we get from Ben Brown, that would be the best outcome.
  12. We did. Freo’s defensive work is hot garbage. That was embarrassing from them.
  13. No Sarong doesn’t help. Their midfield is shallow
  14. I said he was their captain. I know he isn’t anymore. But the fact that he was to begin with is a joke. Neale is a superb player but he is not a leader.
  15. Please go up to the staff and report people drinking or sitting in reserved areas without the proper ticket!
  16. Was down in the rooms with Gawn pre game. I think it’s safe to assume that he will pick Melbourne over GC!
  17. When you had Zorko as your captain, it speaks volume for how bereft of leadership you are. I wouldn’t let that troll captain a collection of rats, let alone an AFL side.
  18. I despise Brisbane. So many punchable heads in one side. Pleasure to beat them.
  19. To be fair, we still had to get one more after the Viney goal and I think they knew there wasn’t heaps of time left. Whereas Melksham probably thought he kicked the sealer, which he did in the end.
  20. Great to have Jared Rivers back, 20 years younger, and with a face transplant 🙄 These commentators need to be shot.
  21. And Gawn is still the godfather of rucks
  22. Exactly, which is why we have to find a way to fit in a second ruck. So he can keep Gawn fresh for when the season really requires him to play 80% time in the ruck.
  23. Shut down arguably the most dangerous small forward in the game.
