  1. Also don't forget our poor culture. It's why Clarry and Trac are top 5 for votes but no Brownlow to show for it. Poor poor culture.
  2. Well done to him and complete respect for coming back and rehabbing a seriously horrific back injury. The need to cut down ex players is really sad. He has worked his behind off to get a third opportunity and I wish him all the absolute best, even if I despise Freo and want to see them fail.
  3. I hear it was Max Gawn. He flew from Fiji to dislocate the men’s shoulder in Bali, then flew home to find Clayton Oliver has burnt his house down. I read it on Twitter so it’s 100% true.
  4. I blame our poor culture
  5. And then turning up in jockey outfit to Mad Monday Great respect to McRae
  6. Involved in what? In this drug situation with Smith? I can guarantee you they weren’t having a party and snorting lines as a team.
  7. Where have I ever said that drugs aren’t a major issue? Of course they are. But let’s be realistic here, AFL players dabbling in cocaine is very different to people in regional communities who are addicted to hard drugs. Many many highly paid professionals, not just footballers, take recreational drugs. It’s definitely not great, but in most cases it also doesn’t result in hardcore addiction. That doesn’t mean it can’t or that we should applaud drug use, but it’s no different to alcohol. For some it’s a major issue and for some it’s not. I think you know very well that ALL clubs have players who partake in recreational drugs. My point is that no player would leave a club because of drug use, and naively walk into another thinking nobody there would touch the stuff. Don’t you think it’s curious that Adelaide was keen to get Oliver early on in the trade period, knowing very well he had issues? As for that Adelaide camp, well it ruined their club for a very long time. So it was a major major issue.
  8. Of course it doesn’t make it right and I am not supporting nor condoning drug use. But to suggest Petty wants out because some of our players are doing drugs is ridiculous, when he would know full well that some Adelaide players would be too.
  9. Worse than a camp where players reported downright racism? Worse than a captain yelling racist comments? Really? Recreational drug use is rife in AFL and basically any high paying industry. You think no Adelaide player touches the stuff? Come on!
  10. Yep, the million dollars had absolutely nothing to do with it… and nothing has ever gone wrong for Adelaide. Squeaky clean culture 🙄😂
  11. Tim Lamb next season for sure
  12. He can't kick, he's slow, he's really soft, I hear his mum is a drug dealer, there are rumours going around that he slept with his teammate's wife. Can't believe we wasted a 6th round draft pick on this hack. We could have recruited the next Bontempelli instead.
  13. Essendon winning those trade week premierships again Also how did Freo get anything other than an F? Lost two really good players for peanuts.
  14. Come on Demonlanders, who owns a pharmacy or any other non legitimate drug operations?
  15. I think the question was did Adelaide offer us anything for Petty that we considered
  16. He makes a lot of cash from the Dees. He manages some of our best players. Also nice of him to acknowledge that SOS woke up in time to chat to Melbourne 😂
  17. The main target for us should be to move his partner to Melbourne. I don’t know what she studies or does for work, but surely someone on D’land can get this girl a job in Melbourne.
  18. Sounds to me like Petty and his manager got thrown an opportunity and took it as a chance to bring stuff to the table with Melbourne. We might need to pander to him a little to try and convince him to stay longer term.
  19. Hey I’m 37 and I take offense to that
  20. Tim Lamb getting deals done with no fuss. Absolute star.
  21. This is why there’s no point haggling and holding clubs to ransom and crying over every small trade. If we pissfart around on the Grundy trade how many other trades would we have struggled to complete? Every year we move deals quickly and end up completing more deals than just about any other club. Geelong made no trades because all week they fought Port only to end up with two picks they’ll never use anyway. No logic.
  22. The Pies fans getting stuck into him on social media is absolutely hilarious. Last year they were worried about his mental health. Now he’s garbage and ducks his head for frees 🙄 Stay classy Pies.
