  1. We were flooding the defence with Jurrah and Watts at the 5 minute mark of the first quarter.
  2. There are better ways to go about getting rid of the coach than humiliating the club, the jumper and the supporters. The fish always rots from the head. If our leadership is non existent, than we will never amount to anything. McKenzie is more a leader than Green.
  3. is absolutely sh!t. Discuss. Brad Green's post match interview was as shameful as his on field behaviour today. Yelling at Nicholson for not passing him the ball. What wonderful captaincy.
  4. One small snippet of Green post match and I feel ill again. WIPE THE STUPID SMILE OFF YOUR FACE, NOBODY IS LAUGHING!!!!
  5. The Tom Scully saga will take a backseat for at least one week!
  6. I'm numb. I think crying is better. I actually don't care anymore.
  7. He was on the bench a lot early on. I hope, for his sake, that he got injured in the first minute of the match, because FMD that was the most woeful performance from a vice captain. His zero disposals are a notch behind Green's 1 handball and 1 teammate abuse in the first half.
  8. He is a reason for me to keep supporting this club. I love him and he is one of, if not my favourite players, because he has what we dearly miss as a whole, heart. We lost most of our heart when James McDonland left, and it's good to know that Jordie has brought some of that back. Shameful really that he has so few mates.
  9. I actually don't think we should be doing votes this week. McKenzie should get 6 and that's it.
  10. There is no doubt in my mind that Bailey is only half the problem, and our leadership or lack thereof is another. However, from the first bounce, Bailey was done. Jurrah on Bartel? Watts down back as soon as we conceded 2 goals? Frawley on Mooney? Trying to play through the corridor when they were killing us on the rebound? And I didn't even watch the second half, so who knows what the hell else went wrong in there. At the end of the day, Bailey and his entire coaching panel cannot survive this and shouldn't. The same goes for Green, who should be immediately stripped of his captaincy.
  11. 186 points of utter humiliation. This loss is either going to break this club, or it will make it. Time for somebody to stand up and do something. Bailey, coaching staff, leadership group and football department need to go away.
  12. Agreed 100%. Nobody should remain standing after this game if they had anything to do with the result. Luckily for the players most of them are young, so they will be spared, but some serious questions also need to be asked of our entire leadership group. Moloney subbed off with 0 possessions? Green with 8 disposals, 1 in the first half? This is the sort of shite that kills football clubs. We have clawed our way back from extinction and in one afternoon have gone 20 steps backwards. It's humiliating, it's embarrassing and it hurts me to see.
  13. And Trengove leading tackler in the game at 3/4 time. Those three at least seem to give a crap about this club.
  14. Ha! Put that on a poster and hang it in the rooms post game. Beautiful.
  15. Shame we can't sub two players off. Green deserves to be subbed to Casey for the remainder of 2011.
  16. I know, and I'm sure I'll cop a lot of crap for it, but I will never not support this club or buy a membership, but [censored] me I don't think I have done anything to deserve this sort of miserable suffering. The club has to do something during the week to show me that they are serious about never ever ever repeating this sort of thing ever again. Dropping Green/Moloney would be a great start. Announcing that Bailey will not coach us in 2012 would be another. NEVER PLAYING WATTS DOWN BACK EVER AGAIN WOULD ALSO BE VERY NICE!!! And the worst thing about it all... we play my most hated team in the universe next week and we'll probably come out and smash them
  17. Fine. This club is taking a baseball bat and smashing my goddamn kneecap with the crap that they are serving us right now. Better?
  18. I have been a devout supporter of this club for 13 years. I go to every Melbourne game, I buy a membership, I donate to the club, but I am absolutely 100% done. This is not an emotional, angry, over the top reaction, this is me making a decision that until Dean Bailey and Brad Green are no longer there, I am not going to participate in supporting this club. My membership money will still be there, but I won't be. I have had a gutfull of being kicked in the nuts by this club. If Bailey is coaching us next week and Brad Green is not rotting at Casey where he should have been weeks ago, then I won't be wasting my time on this club. Watching that first half was like having someone punch me in the face over and over again. I feel physically ill. Never ever ever again should we have to put up with this sort of [censored].
  19. This is worse than any defeat I have ever witnessed. I'm absolutely done. This club needs to find some [censored] leadership and some balls.
  20. We are a [censored] joke and I'm sick of it. Enough is enough already.
  21. A 15 goal smashing will just top off this week nicely. It's going to be mighty ugly. Good thing I don't give a crap about this season anymore.
  22. I don't think we've made any real positive steps forward this season, and the only reason we'll even get to 10 wins is because of the easy draw we had compared to last season. The games won benchmark is stupid, and I for one hope that the board has better KPIs to measure Dean against.
