Gawn's goals were comical. As my boyfriend said, he can't kick them from 10m directly in front, but he can bend it like Beckham. Just goes to show it's all about confidence and relaxing into it. The pressure of nailing a kick when you are right in front obviously gets to him, whereas the low percentage kicks he just goes for it without thinking too much.

Great debut. Did not look out of place one bit.

Anyone who leave their partner 3 months after they had a baby, because they decided to sleep with high school groupies, is a despicable dirtbag. I wish him nothing but failure.

Has been fantastic. Never panics. Good with ball in hand. Super consistent. Never in doubt. Even was he was fresh and everyone called him a spud because they are impatient, he showed some good signs of being calm under pressure and a good reader of the player. Will be a solid FB for years to come! Need to sign up him and Tommy stat.

Agreed. An all round crap season thus far. My friends and I who all barrack for different teams have a footy chat group going. It’s been going for a good 4 years now. And gees everyone is disappointed in this season so far, even those who support teams that are doing relatively well. It’s like tumbleweeds in the chat and tumbleweeds on game day. Total snooze fest.

Honestly if TMac is a pure decoy on Sunday and gets 2 marks and a goal, I will be fine with it. He has enough of a fitness base to stand in the forward line and get some touch. He won’t do much better in the VFL and is wasted there.

To me it’s pretty simple. Weids is the future. Pedersen is not. We need to keep investing in the future, especially since doing so is not going to hurt our chances of winning.

Unless Hogan categorically wants to go, or somehow becomes involves in a drug cartel (still probably not), there is less than 0% chance we would trade him.

There is no doubt it has been a disappointing start to this season. I feel emotionally drained and we are only 6 games in. I think we can win the next 4 games, and that will change the landscape, but there is no escaping the fact that we can't match it with strong, organised, fast teams yet, and to me that is all I care about now. I want to make finals and I want to match it with the best teams. As a club, this is the stage of development I hoped we would be in by now. However at this moment in time, finals look anything but a guarantee.

I don’t believe he would not have reported it. They showed it on the news tonight and it was very noticeable. The doctor or trainer or whoever would have noticed it, even if Trac said nothing. Maybe it was treated and was fine, but then he played and it got sweaty and dirty and therefore infected. It’s pure bad luck. Stock standard MFC stuff really.

ANB keeps his spot because he covers a lot of ground and should in reality do a good job of spreading. Which suits our game style. Harmes for me is a mystery. Has been ordinary for literally his entire career.

Only this club would be this unlucky. At least they showed Viney on channel 7 training and they said he’s very close to a return!!!
