  1. Amen. Slow bodied and slow minded. He can get the ball and he can use the balls. He is just a slow and often dumb decision maker.
  2. ANB covers heaps of ground and does great repeat gut running. He just is not a smart user of the footy. I think he has a spot in the team but he has to fix his decision making.
  3. I am so so happy for him. He is seriously good and just needs some continuity. Well done Gussy!!
  4. I take it you blocked out the period of time when Heffernan played for us?
  5. I just don’t get excited beating garbage sides anymore. They are putrid. I am excited by the individual games of Gus, Oliver, Hogan and Lever. On to next week. (I hate how easily we give up goals. It cost us finals last year and it might cost us again)
  6. The score line definitely flatters us. We are about even. Only difference is they can’t kick.

  8. Looks like he is running in wet cement. His disposal is dumb. It’s not even bad. It’s just dumb. He makes awful decisions. It’s like his brain malfunctions every time he touches the footy.
  9. If he could be stupid not near our players that would be good. Nearly knocked out Jetta. Silly. Ordinary game. Skills are awful. Theirs much worse than ours luckily. We need more TMac time.
  10. I know I say this every time I come here but gees this is the worst ground going around. Putrid.
  11. 2 of each? I can’t clap today due to injury. Hope the other 2 people can carry the burden of cheering.
  12. I’m surprised about Trac. I had to get 2 stitches between my fingers today and I can barely move it. It’s quite sore. How he can play a week after stitches and a skin graft is amazing. I couldn’t even put socks on.
  13. Yeah and now Oliver will be out with facial fractures for 8-12 months
  14. Super important to our team, and I hope both he and Oscar are signed up sooner rather than later. Tom can play FB, CHB, FF, CHF and ruck. How many players can do that in the game, and fill all those positions relatively well?
  15. We have 2 at the moment that would make our team if fit: Kent and Viney (Trac being out for a week is hardly worth noting to be honest) We have been blessed with injuries this season *Knocks on wood*
  16. He is an inside mid. He can get the ball fine, in fact he is some what of a ball magnet. But unless he is in tight contests getting clearances, his disposal is too much of a liability. For me he is better than Harmes as an inside mid because we know he can get heaps of clearances. I have no idea what Harmes can do as an inside mid, as I am yet to see him do much. An inside mid of Brayshaw, Oliver, Viney and Tyson is pretty damn good, and allows our better ball users in Trac and Salem to play more outside roles where they can hit up forward targets.
  17. Talk about twisting my words. He is very calm and uses the ball well. He has beaten every opponent so far (take away Brown’s dodgy frees and he had 1 kicked on him), and has been our most consistent performer this year. Lets appreciate his improvement and not compare him to players that don’t need comparison
  18. It's honestly been a bloody boring season, due mostly to the fact that every team has been average at best (except Richmond).
  19. Bruce is an A grade hack, who always kicks a bag against us. Definitely contender for the Kent Kingsley award this week.
  20. Perfect opportunity to keep playing Weids this week under the roof. It won't be wet, it won't be slippery, St Kilda have terrible defenders so we can stretch them. It also allows TMac to play a little less game time as he gets himself back to full match fitness. We should keep him in at least for another week, especially as he looks comfortable and has done some good things. Also not terrible in the ruck either. Besides, with Goodwin enjoying playing pretty much all our forwards anywhere but the forwardline, I would like to see Weids at FF for big parts of the game this week. See what he can do. He was good at not getting outmarked, which gives the little guys crumbing opportunities that we rarely get when the ball goes in high and we get outmarked.
  21. Agreed. Tyson needs to get his kicking and decision making sorted before Viney is fit, or he'll find himself at Casey.
