  1. Hooray we will beat the worst team in the competition missing half of their best players. What a feat. Absolute disgrace that we are even contemplating not smashing them!
  2. Geelong offered us their second rounder and didn't want to take on his entire salary. Remember their first round pick was tied up in the Smith trade. There would be riots if we traded Oliver for mid second round pick and were still paying some of his wage.
  3. Doubt it. Due to play his 250th! Absolute balls.
  4. What a [censored] 24 hours
  5. 10 points for speaking to the members -10 points for not saying anything
  6. Only our two biggest proven match winners sitting on the bench with 1:20 left to play. You. Cannot. Make. This. [censored]. Up.
  7. I love this new lawyer. He sounds like a Saints fan who’s had enough of the AFL bullying the little guy. Is he available to play FF?
  8. It’s been less than 24 hours since I’ve been outraged. Time for more outrage.
  9. We have senior players on every line. Yes we missed Lever and May, but we have McDonald and Salem on like 400 combined games in the backline. The midfield has Gawn, Trac, Viney and Clarry, that's 800+ games of experience. Even our relatively young forwardline has Melksham and Fritta. Gawn had some howlers in the last quarter with his tap outs, but there are a dozen experienced leaders who ALL needed to do something to fix a clearly turning tide. To not take it upon themselves to SLOW THE GAME DOWN with 3 minutes remaining and bottle up the time left, and lock the ball in for repeat stoppages, was diabolically bad from a senior group. And it's also on the coaches to not send out that directive, to let by far our most dynamic player in Kosi rot on the bench until there was less than 2 minute left in the game, and to not scream black and blue at that last centre bounce the second they noticed we weren't in a 6-6-6 formation. Once the umpire signalled the penalty, the TV panned over to our bench where Mark Williams was head counting. You can't make up this level of incompetence for a bunch of seriously experienced players and coaches. Absolutely diabolically shambolic. We broke a 120+ year old record by losing that game. It literally doesn't get more pathetic than that.
  10. To be fair we lost two assistants to senior roles, which is actually a credit to Goody and the club. Chaplin and Stafford were/have been around for a long time. I worried when we lost Yze and then McQualter, and replaced them with inexperienced assistants, because I just didn't know who would run the box on match days. That used to be Yze's job, and then McQualter's, who were both very experienced guys that have coached before as caretakers. I have no idea who runs the box now. I saw Jones on the phone late in the 4th quarter on the telecast. Now don't get me wrong, love Jones as a player, but nobody will convince me that he's got the experience to run a matchday box!
  11. Completely agreed. I prefer we chase an experienced guy to replace Richo, and then just go for the best most experienced assistant out there. At the very very least we MUST get an entirely new assistant coaching panel. I am not here to hang [censored] on anyone in particular, but our midfield and especially our stoppage work has been diabolical at times this year, which is unacceptable with the players we have in there. The way our midfield capitulated and just made the dumbest decisions in the last quarter yesterday, has to be examined. It's not the first time either.
  12. I feel like now is the time to focus internally on the things that we can control and that really matter. While I think umpiring this season has been woeful, and has impacted results, and the commentators are rock bottom quality, these things had nothing to do with what we saw last night. We had 3 sides get spanked this weekend who should have gotten the media spotlight, and we managed to somehow snatch that away from them, with the most embarrassing performance of the round. Ouch. Not even Patrick Dangerfield eating a souvlaki will top the level of humiliation I am feeling right now as a 28 year member.
  13. 100% correct That 6-6-6 infringement and the lack of manning up on NWM in the 45 seconds it took Marshall to be allowed to play that free, was diabolical. What was worse was blowing up a 46 point lead to a bottom side that kicked 7 goals for the entire game and went on to kick NINE straight in a single quarter to our ZERO goals. That is an absolute joke, and it never ever should have happened. The only acceptable way this happens is if we start the 4th quarter with no bench due to injuries and get overrun. And even then I would expect to hold on to such a large lead. In no universe is that last quarter even mildly acceptable. There is no excuse, no explanation and no reason to believe that this turnaround was not a total failure of execution, application and coaching. Every player and coach involved in today’s game, Windsor aside as he was subbed off, has to take a giant chunk of responsibility for what happened in that fourth quarter. Most especially our leaders and our senior coach who sits on the bench. We never ever should have got to a stage where scores were leveled with 8 seconds to go. What happened at the end was just the cherry on top of the [censored] cake, but it’s one poor moment amongst dozens of poor moments to created this debacle. We have lost our ability to win.
  14. afl.com.auOnline threat to Simon Goodwin reported to AFL Integrity...An anonymous social media post has been passed on by the Demons to the AFLI know everyone is upset, but this is putrid behavior. If it was a Melbourne member I hope they’re banned for life. Everyone is entitled to be upset and angry, but let’s get some perspective. Rubbish carry on!
  15. You’d be deleting their number if he was a boyfriend
  16. -200 points to anyone who participated in that last quarter Hence 6 votes Windsor
  17. For us fans too
  18. Thank god we dropped Jefferson tho
  19. This is NOT me having a go at Spargo, but he is a terrible choice of sub. He has no versatility in role at all, and playing him as the sub ahead of guys like Laurie or even Billings given their form at Casey, and ability to play multiple roles, makes a total mockery of the guys working so hard at the lowest level. Again Spargo is not at fault at all here, but it’s SO infuriating to watch these poor selections.
  20. Everyone is to blame. Leadership, midfield, defense, forwards, the moron who subbed Windsor off for Spargo, persisting with Petty up forward, nobody going near NWM in the last quarter, that putrid 6-6-6 infringement, Kosi and Melksham standard on the bench in the last like they aren’t MATCH WINNERS. I have run out of things that be mad about. 2025 has been a [censored] disaster from start to finish and something has to give
  21. Was Windsor a tactical sub? And was the tactic losing? Asking for a friend
  22. Sackable offenses all around. I’m a very patient person and I have a lot of time for what Goodwin has brought to this club, but that last quarter is unacceptable by any measure. I watched us dish up a lot of trash over the years, but this takes the cake.
