I would suggest that much like the last two weeks, one of the rucks will rest forward so it’s really no different. Brown will have a much better time with Gawn in the goal square than he did with Mitch Brown and Weideman down there. Gawn lives rent free in Geelong’s head

Not a single mention on the injury report and all 3 played out the game. Lever played the game out exceptionally well, Brown kicked the goal on the final siren and Hibbo came back on after being assessed. I highly doubt we would not have subbed Hibbo off if we suspected he had a hammy when for once we had a defender as the sub.

But defense wins flags. We won a flag with a similar forwardline last year and we scored heavily in finals. Forwardlines are overrated. Haven't helped Brisbane or Geelong win flags recently.

Why play the best side in Geelong when you’re gonna have to play them at the G come finals? Then again Geelong has been all about making finals and doing stuff all while there for a while now.

Can you really compare playing backup ruck at VFL level to AFL? Besides Weideman doesn't play a full time ruck role, he was playing with Majak as the primary ruck. And I meant he has good hands in the packs and at ground level. He is not good in the air. That is his biggest failing and the reason why he is in and out of the side, he can't impact aerial contests.
