So far Freo have shown good resilience under pressure and their defense has held up really well. This can obviously not be said for Carlton who start like a house on fire and then collapse like… well… a house on fire

I already pay for that many streaming services, it would be a farce if they didn’t just pick a single service to make it easier for the consumers. If it’s not Kayo but Stan or Amazon, so be it, but if it’s a different service for every night of the week they can forget it. Most people can’t afford that.

The GWS experiment just proves to me that you can’t build an AFL club from nothing. They lack history, generational support and passion, so it’s easy to just coast by. All the talent in the world doesn’t mean much if the club is missing that intangible “pride in jumper” emotion that drives and motivates players. Money is a great motivator to turn up to work each week, but money can’t force you to care.
