Pies don’t have the game style or plan to play high pressure defensive finals footy. Doesn’t mean they can’t do it or won’t do it, but they haven’t practiced it enough IMO to make it stick in finals. Their midfield is very average and their defense is only ok. It’s weak under pressure and they press so high up that any turnover costs them dearly. High risk high reward type stuff. One player alone beat them in the midfield in that last quarter. And he’s 33.
