You always start on the back foot fitness wise when you win a flag or play off in one. It’s even harder when you’re 900 years old. Sydney also started terribly and had loads of injuries. Now they’re coming good. But again, they’re not 900 years old.

Put Dangerfield back on Geelong playing fast is really weird. And silly. Need to play defensive slow contested footy. Geelong look much much better with Stanley out of the ruck. He’s rubbish.

I agree. They’re playing a side that is old, hammered by injuries and generally very slow. They are also getting really smashed in the ruck. Stanley is a horrible horrible ruckman and getting smashed by a very average ruckman in return.

My guess is they got given a serve by Fly after yet another poor quarter and they relied. They’re lucky they are playing a side that’s as cooked as yesterday’s dinner. They should absolutely run Geelong off the field in the second half.
