Carolina Denver Green Bay

It's a bit odd to see the NFC north take a dive this year. Even in the bad years with the Vikes I could always come back with the "It's the toughest division in the NFC" argument. Detroit is a head scratcher. On paper they have it all. Chicago have major problems. Philly has a pretty poor defense (Cassel threw for 348 yds last week) but chicago couldn't give Cutler any time to throw. Chicago's defense is also god awful. If Cutler is gone for the cheaper option of McCown who played well in place of Cutler then they could maybe plug some holes. It could be a win/win for Chicago and Cutler. The Vikes have the obvious QB problems and virtually no secondary. The Packers have fought well without Rogers and to still be in with a chance is a great effort even though the other 3 teams have helped out a fair bit. I don't think either Chicago or Green Bay can get much done in the playoffs but if your boys did make it I think it's a credit to McCarthy and co for signing Flynn and keeping in the hunt to the end.

Eagles are all over Chicago. The bears can't stop Chip Kelly's master strokes and Chicago can't stop Cutler getting sacked.

Denver Tennessee New England

Carolina's start to year wasn't that great either but they went on a great winning streak and here they are. San Fran aren't flying under the radar but there seems to be a bit of Baltimore about them this year. San Fran haven't really hit their peak form at any time this year. Kap hasn't thrown and run for massive yards but has done the job nicely. They could beat everyone in the NFC on any given day. Atlanta shouldn't be a problem for your boys.

I have to say that the Rams are probably in the most envious position of any team come the off season. If Bradford returns fit and you do trade down and can plug some holes your Rams with a fit QB, Scary as hell pass rush and a young hungry team could be building something big. I'll trade you Christian Ponder for your first rounder pretty please.

I'm a bit of a fan of giving it to Romo in December. It's easy to do. But I'm on his side to a degree. They shouldn't have been in the situation they were. To allow Green Bay to score off nearly every drive in the second half is ugly. When Romo put up Peyton numbers against Peyton the defense couldn't help him out. The saints made them look stupid sacking Romo plenty and putting up points at ease. Still Romo shouldn't throw all these December interceptions. It spells for the all powerful and knowledgeable know it all Mr Jones to make decisions in the off season when they probably miss the playoffs again.

Good win by the vikes. Cassel and Jennings have a good thing going. Ah those cowboys. They entertain that's for sure. Why would you throw the ball with the lead and time running out? Run the rock! I don't blame Romo as much as I do the play callers at Dallas. The interceptions are on them as much as Romo. With the eagles losing who I tipped the 'boys should've gone closer to a playoff spot. Also the defense of Dallas is pretty ordinary to give up that much of a lead.

Last year I think we all thought Denver would walk through tho the AFC championship game. Baltimore put an end to that and you are right they could again. Carolina could pull a Baltimore and get hot in the playoffs. If Cam fires up you never know. Philly Seattle KC

The NFC north was a done deal a month ago with Detroit looking to be far too good. It will once again go down to the wire. The Pats without Gronk will struggle but whilst Brady is throwing they are always in the hunt. I didn't take too much out of San Fran winning at home. Try doing that in Seattle. RG3 is being rested for the rest of the year now. Just a shocker for the skins.

Pretty entertaining round of football. The snow brings out the best of what the nfl can offer sometimes. Two point conversion attempts and a lot of 4th down attempts made for some good viewing. Vikings take the lead with a TD and 40 seconds left on the clock and lose. AP is hurt and is pi55ed off that Baltimore fans were throwing snow balls all day. Packers are still in the hunt with a one point win after Ryan throws a late pick. Can't believe they can still make but good on em. Dallas played their December brand of ball. I tipped them too that's a mistake. The skins got whooped and it looks like shanahan won't commit to being the coach next year. RG3 may be benched for cousins. They have had a shocker of a year. Another knee injury and its the "Gronk" so it's all about no tackles at the knees next year.

The first 8 games last year the bears defense was unstoppable. What's happened since then? From what I read the new coach is more of a QB coach and your offence has been pretty good.

It was a weird game. We had the winning field goal but the play was flagged. A viking was ejected. Ponder can't play after a concussion and Cassel plays well and his best play came after being picked off. He mad a game saving tackle. We kick the ball to Devon Hester for some reason and our kicker makes a game saving tackle. Then Chicago go for the game winner on 2nd and 7. Their coach said he was afraid of turning the ball over or losing yards. That's a odd call to make on 2nd and 7 and having to kick from 47 yards. Well we win and it means pretty much nothing,

Do you think your boys can go places in the playoffs? Dalton's TD was lucky. No one bothered to cover AJ at all.

If you look in the dictionary a word has described my morning. Conflicted: When your NFL team is playing a divisional rival in overtime but in a tipping comp where double points are on offer you tip against your team.

I'm more then happy to do a playoff tipping comp. Brees in a dome is a scary thought. I think they lost to the Jets in some ordinary conditions not that long ago and on that one bit of unreliable stats i'll say he is better in a dome. One prediction I have is AP running for 200+ yards tomorrow. Chicago has the worst defence against the run in the league. I still tipped Chicago on the back of Marshall and the vikings QB problems. It will be interesting at the end of the year to see Chicago's record. Under Lovie Smith that defence could score more points then any offence. Now they seem to have a solid offence when Cutler is fit but their 'D' has gone backwards. It seems everyone in the NFC North is missing a couple of pieces to make themselves a NFC contender.

I think the saints in the dome are a massive chance. Get them outside and things change a bit. Home field advantage is a must for the Saints. Denver were pretty average at New England and Peyton's ankle in horrible conditions could play a part. You were the first to jump on Carolina could they go deep into the playoffs?

We all have our scapegoats. It would be hard not to throw to green every play. Today Detroit just looked for one on one coverage against megatron and they just throw it up. It's fun to watch if its not your team as its a bit like a marking contest but in your case I'm sure it makes the blood boil.

Tough day macca. The score line could've been worse too. Flynn isn't to flash when he is getting sacked and pressured every play. That offensive line got smashed today. With a competent pass protection and defense a Super Bowl is a fair chance with a fit Rodgers and receivers.

Another vikings player arrested. That's three in a month. Two players enjoyed driving with some "substances" on them and another was released by the vikings for being arrested for assault by strangulation. Somehow this is Christian Ponder's fault.

New England Chicago Denver

I'd say Houston and the skins are the biggest stinkers of the year. I picked the skins to slide but not this much. Houston according to Andre Johnson just suck and he ain't wrong. If the Packers defence can keep the remaining games tight then Flynn and Lacy don't need to perform miracles. Detroit's best is scary good but to drop a game against Tampa at home is awful. They may breathe fire this week at home though.
