Vikings have released images of the plans for the new stadium. It has a glass ceiling. If it collapses like the metrodome did it could bloody hurt. I don't know why they didn't make it a open stadium. I've seen the old days before the metrodome where players said it is nigh impossible for opposition players to get used to Minnesota conditions.

I am now counting down with big red x's on my calender until the start of the new NFL season...Man this sucks... The NFL should sponsor the MFC. Our club is turning us towards other sports in droves.

If geno starts and gets eaten alive they go back to Sanchez who would have no confidence at all and he seems to be a confidence type player. Gee The jets bring great entertainment value to the league.

A lot of great games of footy are being missed by me mainly due to being envious of most clubs who turn things around and win some games. I hate Port Adelaide at the moment because they are winning. You are right the NFL is open for any team to rise and fall. Miami could come out of nowhere this year or could fall on their ass. Same for my VIkings. If Melbourne had a season like the Vikings we would all expect/hope for at least a preliminary final and if we didn't us and the media would call it a fail. There is a fair chance the Vikes won't make the playoffs being in the NFC north. Add superbowl champs not making the playoffs the next year and it makes for a great league. Can't wait for one season to end and another to start.

Yeah not sure if our list of receivers are that great that we could afford a potential type receiver. We got Jennings but we needed a ready to go receiver for this year. Jarius Wright had a good end to the year but Jerome Simpson is no megatron so we will see. A bit of talk about Urlacher coming to the VIkes for a year. Not so sure about that. We still need a MLB unless they move a few linebackers around. Poor Geno Smith. He is walking into a QB sh!tstorm. Do you think any QB will help Geno out in the pre season with a few tips and pointers? I can see Sanchez running over Smith in his car and as Geno lay on the deck bleeding Sanchez bends over and whispers in his ear "That's my Jersey on Rex's arm and don't you forget it" Tebow and Smith then start praying together not for world peace or a cancer cure but for a trade.

Don't know much about Jones. All the draft picks are being written up as the next Jesse Hogan so it is hard to tell if the draft is a success. I think the media is applauding the Vikes ability to get 3 picks in the first round more then who we picked up. Coach Frazier and the vikes GM were about to do a press conference when they got a call that New England were willing to trade pick 29. They stopped the press conference and bolted out to try and get the deal done. The draft looks like a lot of fun and bloody hectic. In terms of who we picked up we ticked the boxes required but Sharrif Floyd a DT at pick 23 looks to be the best pick up.

Didn't Washington get Alfred Morris in the 6th round last year? There are always quality RB's out there and they come cheap in the draft.

Yeah we traded out a lot but we desperately needed a WR. 3 First round picks sounds pretty good but we need to snag a linebacker and I honestly thought pick 29 from the Pats would have been used on Te'o. A DT that at one point was talked up as a top 10 pick. Plus a physical Corner back and a Wide receiver second to Austin sounds good on paper.

Big move by the rams they acquired pick 8 and got WR Tavon Austin. Raiders give away pick 3 to Miami for 12 and 42. Raiders must have the same amount of confidence in their recruiting department as Melbourne does.

Seattle can count themselves lucky that their starting QB was a cheap rookie. I'd imagine Winfield is on peanuts as it's probably his last year. A fit and behaved Harvin will only add to their offence.He can return punts for TD's and a screen pass can turn into a long TD. They will be exciting to watch this year. I wonder if they will rack up 50 point wins again?

Read a article on the NFL site that the eagles had training and it was a fast paced offence. It will be interesting to see but it's all on Vick to see if he can keep up the pace and not get banged around too much. Your spot on with our wide outs. Simpson had a horrible year and loves to drop passes on 3rd downs. It's hard to tell about Ponder. He has a bit of Alex Smith about him. Ponder hasn't got the strongest arm but is accurate over a short distance. AP sets up all our offence. If he can run like the god he is then Ponder can play action and go to Rudolph every time. That was our red zone offence all year. Our secondary is pretty poor and losing Winfield to Seattle will hurt in the short term. If the vikings fade away this year then I'm with you that sport is ruining my life.

Myself and plenty of others generally hide in here for most of the year. It's peaceful and informative. NFC north is a [censored] of a division and my vikings could either come out on top or flop to the bottom. Chicago were on fire early in the year and fell away and the lions struggled all year but had an impressive 2011 and with megatron they could do a lot of damage. Those packers are always good. It will be good to watch the Bengals this year. I haven't seen a lot of their play apart from the playoffs. Can your boys take the next step and go deep in the playoffs?

I can't believe our board didn't tell the AFL about dank...... Oh sorry wrong sport. Vikings are at Detroit then at Chicago in the first two weeks. Two away division games to start off and both the bears and lions may bounce back to have good seasons. Round 4 we go to London. Why the NFL continue with this is beyond me. Just send tebow there for some publicity.

Yeah I'm the same. Got the 1998 15-1 vikings season on hand. A rookie Moss,Randal Cunningham,John Randle,Chris Carter and Robert Smith. I just don't watch the NFC championship game. It still hurts. This new rule will be interesting. I understand the reasoning but it's natural for the ball carrier and secondary to lead with the head.

On harvin going he is a great player but a royal pain in the ass. I'm glad he is gone we can draft more WR with our added first round picks. Plus we made the playoffs without him.
