  1. I’ll be a little disappointed if we don’t win four in a row and wipe out 1958 memories but I’m enjoying the ride this year
  2. There is no way this is a non incident if that behaviour filtered down junior football would be horrendous.
  3. I think you have to let Clarry get to 270 games and then make the comparison
  4. It’s good for us that he didn’t get rubbed out hopefully he’ll get a few saints next week
  5. No one has mentioned Fred Fannings 116 yard drop kick in 1939 too long ago ? was in a reserves grand final
  6. First time I saw Fritsch play I thought of Robbie skinny , a good kick and mark, probably hasn’t got the evasive skills of Flower but who has Robbie was a gentleman on and off the field and always had time for a chat with a fan ,in fact would chew your ear off in his sports shop if you asked a question about the dees
  7. How about coach Norm Smith or Barassi?
  8. Stretch and Kent were both best 22 for a while this year stretch especially could take a step next year
  9. Now there is a chance of Melbourne Collingwood GF
  10. I think the way to umpire in WA is to undercall both sides which is what the umpires did on Sunday then you don’t get sucked in to home town frees. Sure they missed some to them and to us as well. The call against VDB was a bad call but understandable depending on the angle it may have been seen from. I thought the umpires did a good job on the weekend and probably will do so in a final series.
  11. Bancroft would have benefited from this considering where he put his sandpaper
  12. Realistically only Australia seems to take it seriously the ICC gave Smith a one match ban. Other countries will continue to rort . The English doctor pitches to be abrasive replacing the ball more often would reduce this , the spinners would still improve as the pitch wears
  13. Ball tampering is endemic to test playing nations the pitch manipulation in The UK the lollies, the mint etc etc the best way to stop it is to have a new ball every 40 overs
  14. Does anyone believe that This is the first ball tampering in world cricket . Years ago reverse swing was not even a thing . The poms were sucking lollies the South Africans mints the poms again with dirt in their pockets. We are just not good at it . sure sack Smith and his NSW mates maybe Put some victorians in the team. the problem is that you can’t catch them all the time. My solution is to have a new ball after 40 overs so that reverse swing is not in play. May bring bowlers back into the game without cheating
  15. I used to sit and marvel at Tassie Johnson's drops kicks and I've recently thought that instead of having the umpires interpret whether a behind is rushed or not make the full back have to kick a drop kick from any rushed behind it would resurrect a lost art and coaches would be more inclined to keep the ball in play. Long live the taut instep
