  1. Oh, I thought it was how many we should have won in the 1950s :-)
  2. Fair point -- I haven't been to training for longer than I care to admit ...
  3. That is one factor. Another is the difference between kicking per se and kicking under pressure. I suspect the latter is a lot more difficult.
  4. Agreed. If he was going to show something, it would have been by now, especially in a season when our biggest weaknesses are in the midfield and small forwards. Flash or Tynan or Tapscott or Barry or just about anyone else would be a better use of the place.
  5. That's okay - they won't get any banana cake, either! :-)
  6. Bah! If the masses don't like date scones, let 'em eat cake ...
  7. You can't go past a good date scone (mind you, I don't remember having a bad one :-)
  8. Perhaps a red banana dacquairi, RL?
  9. Nah - more likely cause infection, OD :-). I am not much of a drinker, but a couple of years residing within a drop kick of The Malt Shovel made a few basics rub off: no blends, single malt only, the more unpronounceable the better ...
  10. Keep enjoying it, BBO. Hope the lack of darkness is not keeping you awake.
  11. IMHO, you only reach for Johnny when the dunny needs cleaning ...
  12. Speak for yourself, TBF! Banana by choice, carrot by necessity, remember ...
  13. Wow is right! Banana paradise. Thanks heaps (bunches?), DC!
  14. Banana by choice, carrot by necessity ... :-)
  15. Feeling right at home, OD
  16. Don't mind if I do, but there are plenty of them here on Demonland ...
  17. Banana cake!
  18. Good thinking. Under the vacuum and broom, remember
  19. Had to make do with carrot cake myself just now. Is there a banana cake shortage?
  20. Are you saying that was the problem with the reality bus? If only success was 99% crap and propaganda, in which case I would have a 99% chance of success at anything! (and if the remaining 1% was banana cake ... )
  21. It is the thing called hope, OD. A narrow win over the Dogs doesn't change much, as you said, but at least now there is the prospect of going to the footy without wondering why we bothered on the way home.
  22. Nothing to be ashamed of. There will always be more banana bread ...
  23. I know what you mean, OD -- I don't want to end, either! I had a sick feeling in the last quarter, but all is well that ends well...
