The mark Weed took in the goal square Off a Melk kick where he was looking over his right shoulder and had a collywobble defender right up his clacker was priceless. It shut the Collingwood fans up well and truely. Weed has matured nicely which is great for him and us.

I knew when the UMPS were giving us frees it would be our night. I love the umps. (Well for this round anyway).

One of the best things was watching collywobble supporters leaving near the end of the 3rd quarter. How weak is that. Thanks for coming, we were saying. Ah the memories.

Our goal kicking was awesome tonight. 13.1 to 5.7 after quarter time. That’s not to shabby.

For me Lord it’s the way goes at the ball and tackles. He does turn it over but geez the opposition look twice when he is around. He is a brick wall and that marking attempt where he knocked out the Collingwood player typifies this. He also got a knock from his own teammate and it was a heavy knock right in front of us and shook it off and kept going.

I certainly did AF. What a great game. One of the best 4 qrt games I have seen live in a long time. Preuss was great. To come in to his first game since early last season and perform like he did is a credit to him. Trucks goal from the boundary line was absolutely sublime. The midfielders all worked well together too. Me and the kids belted out the song loud and proud about 3 times after the game. Special night and it was great for my kids to see us perform like that which they haven’t seen often at all.

Well I haven’t seen us play like that for a very long time. I really HOPE we can keep it up in the second half and not go into our shell. First few minutes of the 3rd will be crucial.

Bigger crowd that the port game. Hopefully a different result this time round.

Off to the game. Haven’t seen Melb v Collywobbles play live for a very long time. Hope we play a lot better than we did against Port. Would be nice to see a WIN live Go Dees.

Overcast with slight drizzle here and there. Gabba has really good drainage so I would expect the ground to be in mint condition. I think the rain may hold off during the game.

Any chance Goodwin could possibly think about putting Harmes on sidebum. Who knows he might even find some form ffs.

Why TF do we play 2 games in cairns. FMD wouldn’t it be a better option if Brisbane and Gold Coast played up there and try to increase their market share. The AFL REALLY KNOW HOW TO F... us over.

If we lose this game injuries are NO excuse imo. Pressure continues to be on Goodwin to improve as a coach.

I wonder if lever will be an out given he put his right hand behind his back after the game and didn’t shake hands with it.

I have been saying this fo a while now. Rotate the mids to f50. We need more than 3 mids going around during the game.

I did ask the membership Dept Diamond and The person I got double checked with someone else and advised it had happened to a couple of other games but weren’t sure why.
