I do quite like this man. his tackles are superb, but it’s more as a link in our scoring, either as a handball, block or waiting for a spill, and his physical support for teammates, it’s great. But he has a brain for football, not all players do. His effect on the team reminds me a bit of the effect GlennLovett had. Different positions and size of course. But if GL played well Melbourne played well. And he was underrated by demon supporters and opposition supporters as CS is.Well for the moment. !

After consideration these are as good as any. I really think each player should have received at least one vote. Defeats the purpose I suppose. But AnB,Spargo,Kossy,Tmac,Hunt,Langdon,Gus,Rivers, Max,May,Frittata, all deserved recognition

The Tigers level of 2019 or 2020 was great, apart from the last 3 quarters of football, This Year 2021 Tigers are not near that level either. (Pardon my english.) Just interesting that both coaches saw Max as BOG but both also had Salem up high in the best, some disparaging remarks on this site, Tmac getting a four, might surprise. and Lever only getting one vote also a surprise. well i thought he did well. Like this idea Richmond had been playing terrible, like spoilt brats who expected no opposition until the saints shocked them into a winning mindset They may be over confident again. Especially in that they have a much longer break. after watching Casey I expect Weid to play. I expect him to play well. Class above the VFL. we at least will be expecting a. Very hard game. So we will not be taking it easy in the first. I think, a one or two goal lead to Richmond at quarter time one goal lead to us at the half then we will run away Until they get 3 late goals 3 or 4 goal win to us. Just to try and see how the coaches rated the players compared with the Votes on here Max got both 5 votes Salem must therefor have been given a 4 and a 3, McDonald must then have the other 4, One 3 left one 2 and one 1 O'Meara got a 2 because Lever got 1 So either Petracca got a 3 and Oliver got a 2 and 1 or the other way round Is that the way it was ?

Been done before, In my opinion Neitz was gifted his last 20, would not have been picked in any other side if he was not captain. Jones deserves his time in the sun , He was in the only reason many went to the football when we were absolutely [censored] . Junior McDonald deserved far better, what we as a club did to that Captain. Run by too many accountants.

It's fair to say I was not happy with much at all in the first quarter, but after half time I thought all the players improved their rate, Viney must have cast iron steel balls, AnB, Brown Petty all stepped up just a bit, was great to watch

AF. Now I thought, Salem played a excellent game. Cleaning up the spills and being calm and collected but certainly agree Tmac was massive getting back to his best ( I hope ). And Hunt in glimpses was ask returning to some good form. When he and Langton streak down the wings i am reminded of Steven Stretch. all thoughts memories for last 3 quarters we were terrible for the first.

About right I think , the 2 and 1 could have gone to Salem Hunt Petracca Spargo Jackson Kossy Bradshaw or Frosty in the first half

Re Spargo. I think many on here formed their opinion of him a couple of years ago. I think they underestimate his involvement because of that negative view. I think I had the same opinion of Harmes, I think he has gone up a level above what we remember. He will come straight back in when fit and surprise most. Hunt similarly likes to emulate his doppelgänger and gets energy from him. we got much better after halfway through the second, got less worried after half time. Great last quarter. Go Dees
