TRAINING: Thursday 15th April 2021
FNQ. Very well named, quite like the RSL on the water for dinner and drinks. And four mile beach is a lovely curve of sand. been some years since I was up there but itβs the spot to lay back and relax. Though the crocs have been known to swim in the ocean, so poolside with a bar, I think, great report, just like Casey.

Clayton Oliver Re-Signs Until 2023
I really do like the intensity and hardness, we are applying all over the ground at the moment. This intensity will take us a long way against mentally weaker clubs, Our lot seem to believe that there will be support for them if they muck up a handball or pickup. And it has been there on most occasions . Not sure I would have wanted to play against this quality of team, Far too fast, and too intimidating. But I love watching and supporting it. Whoever brought this in is to be congratulated. I think the talent has mostly been there, but not the implementation. Are they just a little bit older and wiser ?

Clayton Oliver Re-Signs Until 2023
Outstanding news, Fan, blooody, tastic news even, shows Commitment on behalf of the player to the club, I hope his reward the other way was more than adequate . He will want to stay for longer if we win a Granny this year and/or next.

VOTES: Rd 04 vs Geelong
We have all picked 6 players, and we all have slightly differing views on the way the game played out, but I think there were at least another 10 players who deserved being picked in the best. from one or two outstanding tackles, to beating Guthrie each time it came to him, to being in the right spot as the ball came off the pack up forward, to miss by a bees donger, to sprinting in pairs down the wing, thought I was seeing double, to tacking 9 marks or heaps of hit outs and saving marks, or being on the bottom of a tackle not letting the ball get out, to Chunky playing like he deserves to be there, and JV walking tall past Selwood on the ground, Really yesterday we wer3 never in real danger, got caught a bit in the third then settled down, what about Lever calming down the backs after a couple of poor decisions, great stuff We played as a TEAM ! And Hawkins should be cited and rubbed out ! Go Dees. 5 Zip. Make it happen.

POSTGAME: Rd 04 vs Geelong
As much as Goodwin has pizz Ed me off over a few years. They are playing well at the moment. I do not have footy smarts to work out why, so he deserves respect as well as Choco and ouze. but some lesser players are stepping up, Spargo,, tackles so well , Kossie. Never stops presenting must be a nightmare to play on, Tmac coming good, AnB better than last year, likewise Hunt, Tomlinson was second to the ball against Hawkins, but he was recruited for the wing, playing as third tall, he got promoted, did sort of OK, Salem played as well as I have seen him play, Jetta held the ball up and did not allow the cats to run away with it. Hunt and Langton pair up well, Sparrow, Jordan and Rivers did good stuff and were tight on their opponents. Tmac great game, likewise Jackson, Spargo, kossy, anb, and Frittata kicked straight. Jones is actually deserving of his spot, not sure how long that will go for but you may as well retire when you are playing good footy at long last, maybe in 6 months. the selectors are going to have a dammed hard job fitting in Harmes, BBB and Weideman, plus our first picked players are playing well and must have a huge self belief and confidence. I am starting to get it back after about 20 odd years as well, Now to put the sword to those hawks and make it 5 zip We are good enough, Go Dees

POSTGAME: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Whether it was deliberate or accidental should not matter. The outcome of his actions reckless, severe, high contact should be out for 3 weeks, only reason why not. Sorry two, one he is Geelong and two it was against us, and we donβt matter, or did not up until now. . 4 wins means they are hunting us now, Go Dees

Hawkins, high contact, reckless elbow, severe result, should be nothing less than 3 weeks, intentional or not.

Watching on Kayo. What is the point ! its 10 minutes behind. Better to listen to the ABC and watc a replay. Absolutely rubbish. At least last year with Telstra it was only 30 seconds behind [censored] orf
