POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Agree with most of this, disappointed, but we are 11-2 at half way, we played like a tired side that had just beaten a couple of top four teams, looking to a break. memories of the end of 2018 come to mind. we can be as good as anyone but we need to play high pressure footy for 4 weeks not 2. how you organise that amongst the players heads, I don’t know. you cannot play your best 22 for all the games but you do need best 22 cherry ripe for the last few games and the finals. Whose job, Football department, fitness and coaches, I have no idea enjoy the break. A harder half season to go, it’s not easy to win a flag. Our last two GF appearances, thought it was won just turning up.

Anyone miss the old season review videos?
At least we can see it, I would think mine is further back than yours and some friends from the cheer squads way back then no longer have a future, on ward and upwards. Motto from Kyneton High Scool

What they're saying down at Lulie Street
Isn’t that part of your elbow?

Kozzy’s Preferred Side?
I think whoever put this stat together should do an in depth analysis of other small forwards so those who understand statistics and football can dissect and discuss this. a bit like making sure you have enough bananas in the fruit bowl!

Kozzy’s Preferred Side?
You wil break the telly, just have a large mirror and watch the opposite view You cannot use the one on the ceiling cos it gives the same perspective. East on the telly is still east on the ceiling but appears west on the opposite view. This is an amazing statistic !

Farewell Sam Weideman
But he did not take those marks and he did not kick the goals, when was the time he kicked a goal under pressure or the winning goal . he needs to want it more or relax or something 4 goal assists is not the output of a key forward. Add two, no one goal and it’s ok. BBB has kicked important goals in the past, he does not have a long future, Weid might with a different approach. our club or another. No idea, but it’s about our only deficiency

NON MFC: Rd 12 2021
Just what I was about to note and no one seems to be energetic or enjoying themselves apart from Eddie Betts

It’s time to say it…
Sorry but for me. While I am enjoying thinking we can win each game and the way we play it is still one game at a time and each game we can lose unless we are “on” until final time

What they're saying at Junction Oval
At half time I can understand those comments. It was disappointing. Weid is a forward, kick those goals full stop. kossy. Ditto. Don’t miss any. Spargo there are situations you should not put yourself, your not tall enough but there you are with a fist up high spoiling as hard as you can. Goodwin. Last couple of years deserved the bricks this year deserves the accolades Choko and Yze and our fitness guru and our recruiting Taylor deserve everything. and our players doing it for the team and each other and us watching us a little bit watching footy this year is a pleasure thanks to all. Go Dees

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
Was concerned at half time but.. it is fantastic to support a side that you are confident can win in any given week, as long as we start well, great second half fitness department take a bow.

Langdon out Sparra in

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
There are many posts suggesting Langdon had concussion and that was why he was subbed off. can anyone point to a spot on the MFC or AFL websites that says he had concussion, I have seen it in a paper. But not on any official type list. Can anyone give us the drum !

Role player / Selfless buy in
For what it’s worth i think Spargo is a link and mostly underrated I also think Harmes as a tag on a better player. Or even and to my surprise AnB and Melky play their part.

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
In my opinion, Weid failed big time when he shanked the third goal he should of made. We were well on top, he was not far out, there was no obvious pressure. He is supposed to be a Key position forward. The difficult one’s leave to frittata or Kossy spinning in circles. the ones basically straight in front bbb. Bread and butter

VOTES: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
Melky of course, but he did play better last night and was an important kog, happy enough that he was in the side

VOTES: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
6: oliver 5: harmes 4: lever 3: spargo 2: brayshaw 1: rivers then there were some very good players who usually dissappear I thought Hunt, ANB, Petty, Jackson, Jordon, Hibberd all very important roles The usual players Tmac, Tracca, Gawn, May, Langdon, Fritta, Salem missed his silk last week., I did think Kossy was "quiet" but potentially explosive, and the Weid, to prove his worth as an AFL player should have kicked his third goal, he should not have missed, well in front no pressure, a bad miss. Sparra was quiet as well. hardly a tweet. thats only 22 who have i missed, pleased with the result never worried from the 10 minute mark of the first. we were switched on from the start.

If Weid was AFL standard he would have kicked that goal. Very disappointed

TEAMS: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
Only if he has a continuing role at MFC or indeed with anyone else in the AFL too good for the VFL but the seniors not good enjoy to impose yourself or show promise only every now and then not when there are others
