Love reading this analysis, could not do it in a month of sundays. But I was there against Freo and watched closely against the Swans. after half time in each match we "got done" in the centre each time probably for different reasons, and we got out muscled or for football smarts (read free kicks perhaps) in the backline. also probably for different reasons each week . Except that May was missing and Petty NQR. Our forwards need some other mix, as much as I like Tmac, I cannot believe he is the reason the forwards are not working. Fritta, Spargo and Kossy rarely waste a chance to pass to someone or score. Is it simply the way its coming out of the centre or wings into the f50. Need a few others of our players in the Casey side to be chosen as players with more potential than others to be signed up to ensure or try st least. To have two or three players each year to step up and into the senior side. Like the old days of Hawks play 80 or so reserves then step up to the ones and play 150 games or more. Keep the dynasty going. I am sure it requires very careful list and player management. we stuffed it up for 50 years we need to do it well. A bloody hard job. Mal you missed a remarkable game, I went, was concerned at half time. then we got blitzed after the main break, very discouraging they had very little trouble getting it in the centre and it just kept going their way. At least you could get something to eat or drink. Half the bars and good outlets were shut where I was. hope your hospital stay was successful, might get there for the QB match but remains to be seen and too many pies supporters as well. all sitting where I like to sit cheers mate get well

Before we decide the Weid is totally useless at AFL level. I would like to see how he plays I. In The back half. he can grab the ball or punch it I don’t care but try him at Casey for a few games and suck the lemon and see. He has a lot of positive attributes . big, agile, can he read the play NBI but u would hate to see him succeed at mthe pies in the back line. we will win this weekend

These are close to my thoughts first half very hard game. We only played well for about 10 minutes it seemed otherwise Freo kept at us. After half time they were too tall and too quick. We were reacting too not dictating the play. Injured players did not help and some their day in the sunshine should be over I think . Try others in the Casey mix, and unless Hibberd comes back perfect then their should be 3 places or 4 for others from our Casey lot. I do think Bedford will be OK. let’s see if there are others go Dees

That game proved the AFL correct and the ball just bounced the wrong way after half time, though we clearly did not run fast enough.

I thought it was a very hard fought game as well When teams hit you with all they have and you win by nearly 50 points and remain undefeated then you should be pretty content as a supporter. Agree
