To me 2020 started off with very high hopes to complete a lot of personal stuff and to "move on". Footy as well. Then Covid ! Now we are back at square one for many of us, just a wasted year very little achieved for some. So I say as well I hope your 2021 is much better, for everyone. Great, I like the fact that he went hard on his fitness etc over the 2020 when there was no competition. Says a lot for his application and expectations. hope we got the best drifter in the draft

Pleased he had been invited to train with our group. The fact that he was not father son listed by either club. Nor selected by any other club in the draft. In fact did not rate any mention I could see. Raises concerns about his ability,but at least this way we can make our own determination. So no regrets. Maybe he is young or too lite for the moment but might develop at a later age. We should have a relationship at least. The Wiz was far too good not to try !

Question who decides the deficiencies in the playing list, that then determines the selections in the draft, and how early are these deficiencies identified and how early are the targets, targeted. Thanks

Yes I would like an "in depth" report on why certain players were or were not taken or whatever. Knowing nothing, but expecting perhaps that Carroll might be chosen, if available. But he is in melbourne so will help to keep Jackson and Rivers less homesick perhaps. But I trust the team that decides the picks, They did wonderfully well last year, again I picked others, but Jackson, Pickett and Rivers seem destined for many games. So Bowey, Laurie were talked about as possibilities and Rosman as a rough diamond destined elsewhere. Reading MFC , JT was targeting certain types or abilities and he is happy, So I should relax. I might have thought we might get someone to get into the side Round 1, but looks like we will be using the same main playing list. It also seems that "they" are comfortable having TMac playing somewhere, relax, get over 2020, look to 2021 Go Dees

I can see why you all think the way you do. I really think the pass mark will be determined half way through. If we are less than 6 wins 5 losses, even if the losses are by less than a goal each time. Then its a fail and a bad fail, see you later alligator, don't slam the door on your way out ! probably needs to be 7/4. That's when you decide and act. It is a given that the posters who do the phantom drafts, and the others not on Demonland, who do the same, HAVE a better knowledge than me of the players coming through. Love reading this stuff but the research, and the points thing up and down, this draft and the next, its beyond me. TBO. Could someone average out the different Phantom drafts, remove the players 1-16 say, we have 18 and 19, and perhaps get to say 25, and then we or I could look at say a list of 10 players, of whom we might take 2. Has someone got the time, patience, and perseverance, let alone computer skills, Even better if someone who has "inside knowledge" might suggest a target like Jackson, when he was mentioned only a week or so before the draft last year, before that I cannot remember him being spoken of. Well we are lucky as Demon supporters even if the state government imposes a limit of 25% we can still sit in comfort with about the normal amount of crowd well apart from the pies and tigers hope to see some footy in 21 !!

Half will agree with his demons listing half will not, both views have their own relevance. But He will straighten us up, Weid and Jacko get the poorer defender. That must be good for those two. Probably taking TMacs spot, means TMac must work harder to be best 22, that cannot be bad. If TMac gets fitter BB must work harder, definitely win win situation. I laughed at his long run up, but he is very effective with it, If he kicks 3 or 4 goals a match, hip hip hoo ray !! I had about 20 members cards from 67 till 90, in a draw , gathering dust. We got robbed. Why would anyone take members cards from when Demons were terrible. Those and the Hasselblad system. I was devastated. Keep them safe !

I think i agree, mostly a rolling scrum, with no application of "in the back" or "incorrect disposal" just shovel it to your guys ! At least there are no distance limits and 4 downs, stuff made for TV. But its getting there, and we can all speak with a Californian accent, and Vote for Donald. Cannot wait !

Whatever anyone thinks about Hardwick, and I do not like him at all. He has proven to be a competent and able coach. It took a while perhaps, but he is good at what he does, coaches footballers. He has no idea what to do with perceived criticism. Still don't like him but he can coach

My only take on this question is that if JKennett thinks its a good idea, then the only person who would benefit and then only in the short term is JKennett and the Dorks. Think the same for the Sydney Swans. I doubt very much if anyone from the Melbourne based clubs. Apart from those with the biggest fan bases would gain much at all. The clubs pushing this are not interested in the whole of the competition success rather their own individual success. They should structure the games so we all play each other twice, Home and Away. Increase the number of games played, and the players can keep being paid too much. If you can get Tassie in there so much the better, Just my take !

I managed to put a very little on him about 8 weeks ago. Only got 15 to 1 but its probably better than what he is now but not as good as the start of the season. Come on Tracca !!
