The sauce of my sauce (let's call him 'the concentrated sauce') informs me that Bennell knows he wont get another senior game until he tests his legs at 100% pace. Seems loathe to run at full speed lest he have another breakdown. Might be psychological fear, or could be a real fear of further injury. Not exactly groundbreaking, but interesting intel nonetheless Must say in the games I've watched he never really hits top gear. My sauce is impecable and a true gentleman. #theconcentratedsauce

Yes, we got Kozzie and Rivers (after Freo pick trade) for 2020 R1 plus 2019 #26. The 1st rounder tied to us could be around 16-19 due to academy/FS/mid 1st rd PP Will be interesting to see if we trade up the draft board this year. A lot of unknowns about draftees who have had very little footy exposure over the last 12 mths. JT/JM might just hold tight and hope that who they want makes it our Haw 2nd rounder

The AFL has said that umpires must give opponents some time to leave the protected area. Listening to the umps mics, they usually say "leave the area" at least twice before paying a 50. Viney was next to his opponent in the zone when the mark was taken and followed him away Kent played on immediately, which may also remove the protection zone But as we all know, it's a lucky dip with umpiring decisions.

Don't the Sun's get middle 1st round (11) and start 2nd round (19) PPs? Or have i got that wrong? As a side note, I see the AFL are planning to phase out academy zone selections in 1st and 2nd rounds. Meaning that academy players are open slather during those rounds. Not this year though. Big shout out to Wagner. Thought he did a very serviceable job, given it was first game in a while. Plaued hos role very well. Keeps his spot for sure. Harmes has his work cut out to get back in!

Must say I liked the game Omac played. The tempo style played on our terms suits him. Slows it down, less chaos. He struggles when it's fast footy and is caught out. But with May and Lever dominating, Omac looks strong as a 3rd tall. Good foot skills, generally goes with the best % kick. He might just be a late(ish) bloomer.
