When you get there adjust your watch back 1 hour for daylight savings, then the date back 30 years.

Also worth researching Cape Grim on the west coast for the same reason. Best be careful or we'll have Demonland's Bolt fans calling us the black arm band lefties

Special if you are into wine the Tamar Vally has some excellent wineries up either side, including some Straya's best sparkling and pinots. Also, if you are into nature, Launie isn't far from world heritage sites.

I once looked to bid on a newly fit out apartment in a lovely old art deco building in the CBD which had its own terrace complete with flagpole. When I went to the open for inspection there was a huge MFC flag flying proudly. The building was/is beautiful but the apartment job was terrible. The flag was the only endearing feature.

The canal gets full of sewerage and floweth over after s heavy rain. Used to be worse several decades ago. They cleaned up the storm water and septic run off but these 'once in 100 years' events tend to find them out. Of course, it's all a conspiracy...
