Until Hird admits guilt and acknowledges what he did, your thoughts are hollow.

His foot skills have improved this year outta sight. Last year he over or undercooked quite a few. Some his pinpoint delivery of late has been outstanding.

Sends a great message to kids that an unrepentant, lying drug cheat can so easily be accepted back into the role of AFL hero. Whatever the pathetic micro-tradition of previous winners handing it out, this is simply not acceptable.

joke /jōk/ noun 1.a thing that someone says to cause amusement or laughter, especially a story with a funny punchline:"she was in a mood to tell jokes"

If that's a highlight package of his disposal ability, then its a big pass from me. Kicking looks poor under minimal pressure with space. We have enough in possession of that trait already He can run on the outside and bounce well though

That's a mozz if ever I've heard one. Bloody Wallet.

Tom McDonald - are his days as a defender over?
Moonshadow replied to Nasher's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yes, we are unpredictable and adaptable now, far more than Roos and light years away from Neeld. I've noticed we use the bench very well now to mix up and keep tags away frmo Oliver -

The game is won in the midfield. Our back are improving fine. That TMac is spending time in attack and there's talk of him staying there is further evidence of this. In two years time 3 of our better mids will be retired or close to. I'd take a mid with our first pick this year and in 2018 every day of the week, or I'd trade for an A grade mid. If Taylor thinks Jack Higgins is that person, great. Kidding ourselves if we think we have enough midfield talent with elite decision making and disposal.
-
We need about 3 x A grade mids. Atm I think we have 1 (Oliver) or maybe 2 (Viney?). We need outside class and run in the style of Kelly. To me that is the greater need. But I certainly wouldn't say no to Lever and absolutely trust Taylor/TViney

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever

I get your enthusiasm, but it's not a quiz to name a trade that has resulted in a flag. We all know that one does not necessarily cause the other. It's about making our team better overall so that we can improve and get closer to a premiership and eventually win one (or two...) If Lever makes us better, and clearly he would, there are only a handful of players who could not be part off the trade discussion. Frosty is not one of those. One thing I hope we do not do is trade a future 1st round pick, next year's draft is reported to be exceptional -
Also the more people we must push down the slope, their frozen bodies never to be found.... OK, a bit ott there

When we win the Granny we sure as hell will want a meeting place within stumbling distance of the G. I'm not going home for a month!

Could only be a Carlton supporter. Sad really. You'd think someone close to him would counsel just a little bit of class

The Curnow v Weideman Debate Reprised
Moonshadow replied to deelete my account's topic in Melbourne Demons
These hindsight threads sh!t me (yeah, I know "don't read them!" and all that palava). Kind of only useful if we are thinking of trading for them eg. Lever. Now, more than anytime in the last 20 years, we should be showing faith in our drafting/recruiting staff and their calls -
