Jason Taylor Resume
Bull [censored]. May fills a desperate need that we cannot win a flag without. KK and pick 23 are icing. Perfect trading for a bookend and cashing in on as guy who would rather play for a weak club. Hogan is a quality player, dont get me wrong, but has serious game flaws (set shots, lack of defensive pressure, umpire dummy spits) which are better enjoyed elsewhere. Going forward, I'd sooner put my faith in Tmac and Weid than continue to hold my breath every time Hogan goes near it. The opportunity lost is in not doing this 12 months ago.

Save your trolling for the preseason training threads, chap.

Sure, Ron ? Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Farewell Jesse Hogan
There's a bunch of outraged posters in the first 15 pages of this thread who claimed emphatically that Hogan was settled and going nowhere, so there was no point in continuing with the thread. Certainly come around to bite a few on the bum

A good mate of mine knows a few of Jesse's family. The story goes that apparently Jesse never felt fully accepted at MFC, he was always on the outer. Claimed that even though he raised trade possibility with the club, he definitely felt pushed. 3rd hand info, so take as you will.

Did he say in that interview that Lyon and Fyffe met with him last year to convince him too come to Freo?

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
Interesting that Beams took most of the money in his front loaded contract with Brisbane and then suddenly wants out. No wonder they were so pizzed off and wanted 2 x first rounders in return I wonder if Hogan's contract with us was back loaded. If so, we might be saving a pretty penny in our SC next year

Maybe there's more to him leaving than we know dc. Many of the reasons seem to defy logic. The main one for me is why leave a well run club on the way up for a lowly club with limited delivery inside 50? I dunno either.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
I'll say it again: We are closer to a flag in 2019 with May in our team than Hogan. Add KK, Preuss, Toby Bedford and things are positive. Who's likely at pick 23?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Was Hogan signed for 8 years at Freo as rumoured?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
A lot of hot air and silverback bluff. Will it work out? Don't know, but sure as hell look forward to Thursday so as not to deal with Bell-end anymore.

You think olisik has the ability to look at the context and nuances of the situation? Everything is B&W to him

Because we are in a premiership window and May adds A LOT to our team balence. IMO we are closer to a flag with May in our team than Hogan

IF, if we were to get 5 and swap it for 8+13 before Wed 8.30, we might try and use 8 as part of May deal and keep 13. That cannot be done on draft night. Get it?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Wrong. I guess you are too busy making [censored] up to understand May is extremely quick off the mark. In the GF sprint a couple of years back he left Jayden Hunt for dead over the first 50m or so. He has pace, very good pace for a guy of his size.
