AFL and 18 Clubs apologise to Adam Goodes
Would really like this thread to be moved to the loony general board, alongside 'the moon is part of mars' thread. Thanks ?

Key forwards - let's go shopping!
Hasn't the tank yet. A few posted in the Casey thread thay he looked spent during the 3rd quarter. This seems to happen every game he plays. Remember he's only 23 and played no Aussie rules until he was 17, so he's still learning. However, Tmac looks so out of form that Preuss to 3/4 time is certainly looking like an attractive option. You have my vote Stormy

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
So you want Preuss to play the role that Spargo or Wagner plays? Just checking... I would think that Preuss should replace Tmac. If you don't want Spargo or Wagner to play (btw i agree and I'd add Jeffy to that list), who at Casey can we pick to do their rolls?

Jason Taylor Resume
I'm with you Red. He looks to have good potential. I was under the impression that every club could have picked him and passed in 2018. So he's kinda like a 2018 pick 137 ?

1978 - The Dennis Jones era
A lot of high scores in that era. 150 points wasn't uncommon. There were a couple of 200+ too

1978 - The Dennis Jones era
According to Wikipedia the round 2 scores were Melb 24.23 (167) to Fitz 23.19 (157)

Sounds very Neeldian. Those R1 and R2 scores are crazy. Imagine him coaching now!

AFL and 18 Clubs apologise to Adam Goodes
It was a serious question. I'll take it the answer is no. You are all over every busy thread 24/7, so its hard not to post after you somewhere. You could also ignore if it upsets you.

AFL and 18 Clubs apologise to Adam Goodes
So you've spoken with Goodes to know exactly the context he was intending? Or is it just 'your opinion' again...

I've sat behind her and a bunch of the other MFC AFLW players at the G for a men's game last year. Seemed to cheer pretty hard for us. They moved during the 3rd quarter. I was with @Bitter but optimistic and he was a drunken disgrace trying to get Daisy Pearce's autograph. I moved too.

Fans Behaving Badly?
Perhaps. But on social media there are a couple of people who claimed to be near the incident saying he definitely used the word [censored], rhymes with boof. The guy seems like a bit of an attention seeking idiot. Who the f knows who's right?? I agree that the AFL under Gil have lost direction. I think the AFL for years have let umpire abuse become increasingly acceptable. I know a teenage girl who umpires in a local boys comp. She told me not a week goes by where she doesn't get verbally abused by spectators, sometime right in front of her face. I think she'll give it up. The AFL has part time umpires, rules change every year, decision making is getting worse in a game where adjudication is near impossible, cameras and technology are letting the umpires down. And I'm guessing they are the lowest paid prominent employees in the AFL. What other professional sport in the world requires umpires to have a ball skill (centre bounce)? It's a difficult, unloved gig. Who'd want to rise through the ranks to become a senior AFL umpire? It will take a long time, but the AFL needs to create an environment where umpires are not the butt of every spectators anger. How they do this i dont know. Gil and his mob are paid handsomely to show leadership and develop the game. They should be capable of doing this. And having an umpires appreciation round is just pathetic lip service.
