The added motivation can be a 2 way street. Remember Peter Vardy who we got from Adelaide. Very good player. I remember his first game against the crows at Princess Park. He was absolutely dreadful.. I wandered out of that game wondering if he still thaught he was playing with the crows. Some players play well and others don't. I don't think Watts has the motivation anyway. Be interested to see if they pick him next week. I don't think they will.

We have played them 23 or 24 times in finals and they have only beaten us 3 times.

Went down and had a look and aside from the filth supporters I enjoyed the game even though it was congested. Tyson was probably BOG but I was impressed with keiltys game. Overall the team played well together. I noticed the filth tried to move the ball quickly with a lot of handballs. Their seniors do the same. Our blokes tackled really well and kept the pressure on them. Our seniors will have to do the same as moving the ball quickly ( and pacey ) is about the only area of the game they may get us on.

Bruce Mceveny ( or however you spell his name ) is a complete cakehole. Going on about what it will mean for port and how they have beaten the premier side 5 times out of 6, and how season defining a port win would be and can make the top 4. He is an absolute pratt.

Out of all those players Elliot is the only one I would concern myself with. The replacements they have are probably as good as those players or are playing above themselves.

Now that is what I call fantastic news.

Watched some of the filth versus freo game and noticed that the filth turned the ball over quite a bit in 1st half but freo wern't able to take any advantage of it. They also like to pop it long to the full forward line. To me we have to apply a lot of pressure to their mids and they will stuff it up. Also must man up down the back for when they go forward. This made me think that using Harmes and or Fritch down back and bringing in another midfielder like Tyson or Stretch ( preferably Tyson ) to help negate their midfield.

Sticking to start of year predictions. 14 wins and 5th spot. It could be better I hope.
